He’s no Alligator Blood but my stable fav Yauson heads to Flemington for the 1st time tomorrow. He has come a long way since his maiden win at Kyneton & has continued to improve with every run this prep. He takes a while to wind up but hopefully he’s got 1 more big run in him🙏

It’s a shame the two best weighted horses in the race couldn’t get a run. Both would’ve been genuine chances. #CaulfieldCup

It was a very hot day which is always tricky to manage, but I thought the @MelbRacingClub did a great job looking after both stable staff and horses with the heat policy in place today. ✔️ Shorter time on course ✔️ Reduced time in the parade ring ✔️ Extra attendants on hand ✔️ Staff handing out water bottles ✔️ Water misters running Conchiero seemed to enjoy the water misters and handled the day well — might be one to follow next start 🐎
