Stay SAFU everyone. It has been a tough week for the industry.
Recent hacks show how security risk has fundamentally changed because of AI. Operational security and key management still lag the capital at stake.
I am optimistic however that the industry will keep evolving. Better key management, stronger audits, and rigorous risk frameworks are the way forward.
Teams that treat risk management and security as non-negotiable from day one, and actually deliver on that track record will outcompete the rest of the competitions. Builders who prioritise this will define the next chapter.

• $5.8B outflows reported from hot wallets
• But @binance holds ~$165B in total reserves
• That means this is still under 3.5% of what they actually hold
• @Tether already froze $1.567B+ USDT
• @circle froze $823M USDC
• So a big chunk is already locked and can’t be moved
• SAFU fund (their insurance) has ~15,000 BTC worth over $1B
• Plus they can cover from their own reserves and balance sheet
• @cz_binance already said: “User funds are safe
• And later: “Loss might be a bit higher… but will cover”
• @binance official statement: “User funds are completely safe”
• Withdrawals temporarily paused only for security checks
• App and trading still working normally
People are panicking and comparing this to FTX, looking like paid campaigns.

FTX had zero real reserves, fake books, and was completely insolvent.
Binance has $165B reserves, monthly Proof of Reserves above 100%, and a real SAFU fund ready to use

$ASTER launched 17 days before the market topped.
Seventeen days. Then straight into a bear market.
People keep saying “all it does is go down” as if the rest of the market spent that period making new highs.
What exactly were you expecting?
I understand why people are fed up with it. But you’re judging it almost entirely on how it traded through a bear market.
We haven’t even seen ASTER trade through a full bull market, and people have already decided it has no future.
Personally, I think that’s a little premature.
People will continue to question why I’m buying $ASTER here.
What would make it a better buy? A higher price?
A few big green candles and everyone on the timeline suddenly agreeing with you?
