50 years ago today Ray Reardon won a 5th world title at Wythenshawe Forum. The event was beset with complaints about conditions and promotion and attracted only scraps of TV coverage.
A year later new promoter Mike Watterson took it to a theatre in Sheffield. Best decision ever❤️
