Protip: protips were meant to be sarcastic, obvious and unhelpful. I hope this doesn't help anyone.

Replying to @MarkJCarney
@MarkJCarney - check this out. Let’s do this with the Canadian Photonics Fabrication Centre.
Also, let’s find more things in NRC and DRDC that we can commercialize.
Thanks,
Eliot
The obsession with this website is nuts.
Go build something as big as Airbnb. Then retire to civic volunteering and build a chat bot that regurgitates government website links.
20+ people in the last 2 days asking for a Canadian america.gov. cool. who's actually building it?
We're starting a volunteer team. devs, designers, policy peeps, lurkers all welcome. reply and i'll add you to a gc 🇨🇦
repost for visibility or tag your friends if you know someone who should be in it

Ollama just added support to run jev models all locally.
It's addicting to play with some of the demos we've built in-house.

America.gov is a chat bot that links you out to one of the 29,000 government websites lol
We need Canada.gov @MarkJCarney . But please let someone competent do it. Don't go down the rabbit hole of sub contractors.
Let the agencies bid and pitch to you. We have some great ones in Canada.
America per capita GDP is substantially lower than European countries like Ireland and Switzerland.
Americans work longer hours, have fewer holidays, and are always killing their kids in school.
America is broken.
I'll take slippery slope fallacy for $100, Alex.
Good idea - banks are giving kids loans that they can’t repay, and kids who haven’t been taught financially literacy are taking them.
Then they:
1. End up with a degree that the market won’t pay them for.
2. Have all this student loan debt.
3. Become permanent renters who can’t afford a home and don’t want to start a family.
That’s fertile soil for socialism and radicalism to take root.
Kids need to be taught that a college degree is an investment, and some investments are better financially than others.
This student trap contributing to the economic frustration and the loss of the American dream.

Americans: Canada getting cozy with China is a fucking national-security crisis.
Also America last night: Trump practically dry-humping Xi through a state dinner, military flyover and enough red-carpet foreplay to make Beijing blush.
Apparently China is the enemy when Canada talks to them.
When Trump does it, somebody dim the lights.

This is basically what you should be seeing on GLM-5.3-Flash with 4x DGX Sparks. If you're not getting these numbers, let me know and I can help you tune your recipe.
This is pushing pretty close to the capacity of the interconnect and GPU.
America is doing trade deals with China!?!? Communist China?!?!
Huge, if true.

I let DJev play Runescape at fishing for 30 min.
Every single action is decided by the 26B diffusion model itself on a single 5090. ZERO neurosymbolic setup.
+1.84M XP vs. Astra's +1.61M
~$0.32 of power + 5090 wear (roughly simulated -- assuming $0.45 kWh) vs. $13.62 in API.
42x cheaper.

Every Canadian gets a pamphlet in their mail, every 6 months for MAID.
If you don’t fill it out and send it back in time, unqualified volunteers come to your house on snowshoes, tie you down with moosegut cords, and kill you by suffocation with a beaver tail.
True story.
🚨 CANADA: No oncologist yet — but a MAID pamphlet arrived
Kristin Logan: “I hadn’t even seen an oncologist yet before I got that pamphlet.”
“As I’m waiting for even the first call from the oncology team, I get this pamphlet in the mail basically telling me that I can go and kill myself.”
“At that point you realize what a DYSTOPIAN situation it is.”
I did this with my rivian.
Confirmed 100% of data is going to America.
I'm shocked.
Norway 🇳🇴 put Chinese 🇨🇳 EVs in a mine so the cars could not “see” the outside world. 🚘
They still tried to call home. 🛜
Researchers found data moving with the car switched off.
About 90% of the traffic from the car they tore down went to China.
Same country now selling cheap EVs into Canada. 🇨🇦
Cameras. Mics. Always-on modems. PRC intelligence law.
This is not a green-car debate. ♻️
It is a rolling sensor debate. 🛰️
Ottawa wants the cheap sticker price. Beijing wants the feed.

Yes, classifiers existed. BERT, DeBERTa, GLiNER, fine-tuned heads. Most of them were specialized. Pick the labels, train, ship. Changing the rules at runtime meant another training run.
What we did not have was a general-purpose classifier at Terra / Sonnet 5 level intelligence.
You could fake it by asking an LLM for JSON, but that was slow, expensive, and poorly calibrated.
Jev is that missing piece. Labels defined in code, typed answer plus confidence, no extra LLM call.
Classification is not new. What is new is a general-purpose classifier this intelligent, this fast, and this cheap.

👋 Say hello to @TinyJoin, a tiny relational database for browser apps.
Built in Rust, and hosted as WASM on a worker thread, it's designed for rich local-first apps - and to challenge a few of the web's dated architectural assumptions.
`npm create tinyjoin@latest` to give it a test drive. And tinyjoin.org for more info.
