Replying to @VivekGRamaswamy
Mr. Ramaswamy, you used a WHITE emoji earlier today, and then you used a YELLOW emoji after that. Why are you averse to using a brown emoji? Also, why the flip-flopping from white to yellow? Are there internal divisions within your campaign over which color emojis you should use?

The city council for Cambridge, Massachusetts voted 5-4 for an amended order calling on its pension and other retirement-benefit funds to divest from companies implicated in severe abuses against Palestinians, as well as abuses in regions like Sudan. When national and international bodies fail to take action regarding human rights crises, local governments have to create pressure from the bottom up.

Pay raise? Bonuses? Co-worker pressure? Push from leadership? Pardons for everything? What's the driving force to turn Gestapo on American citizens and non-violent so-called "illegal" immigrants (who are often just productive citizens with roots, friends, a life & family here)?
The number of state and local police officers working with ICE has DOUBLED in the last 8 months. Tens of thousands of cops are being deputized by feds to ruin the lives of people in the towns they're sworn to protect. Many people being detained are long-term residents without criminal records, or they were charged with non-violent civil/traffic offenses. Immigrants are going to become reluctant to report crimes, step forward as witnesses, or call 911 during domestic violence or medical emergencies out of fear of deportation. This erosion of trust makes our neighborhoods less safe overall and puts us all in more danger.

We do not talk enough about how our police forces are IDF trained! This is why you see so much violence and brutal rage coming out of these trained thugs!!

"A hazing incident." Seal Team 6 guys killed him after finding out he had reported their theft of government $$ and trafficking of local African women. The authorities pretended to prosecute the two ST6 operators involved but let them out of prison as soon as attention died down.
Please help me honor US Army Green Beret Staff Sergeant Logan Melgar. On June 4, 2017, the 34-year-old engineer sergeant was killed in Mali during a hazing incident by fellow special operators who broke into his room, restrained him, and applied a chokehold that led to his death by asphyxiation. From Lubbock, Texas, he served with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) after enlisting in 2012, completed Special Forces training, and deploying twice to Afghanistan. Survived by his wife Michelle and their two sons, Melgar was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, leaving a legacy of service and a case that exposed serious issues of accountability within elite military units. Never forgotten.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Death ruled homicide by asphyxiation. Two SEALs and two Raiders charged with felony murder for chokehold in planned hazing to film sexual assault. Convicted of manslaughter/hazing; sentences 6mo-18mo after reductions. Theft cover-up motive alleged, denied. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of… news.usni.org/2021/01/24/sea…

Dolores Huerta has passed away at age 96. She's an American legend who helped build the United Farm Workers and was a central organizer and negotiator in California's farmworker movement. The contracts that were won with her help secured concrete improvements for workers including drinking water, rest periods, health benefits, and protections against pesticides. Huerta coined the phrase "Si, se puede" ("Yes, we can"). This chant was a defining rally cry for the farmworker movement. She led national strikes, organized nationwide grape boycotts, and faced down corporate executives. She was arrested 22 times during peaceful demonstrations and survived severe physical injuries, including a 1988 assault by police in San Francisco during a peaceful protest against pesticides. The assault caused internal bleeding, broken ribs, and required emergency surgery to remove her spleen. A true legend in every way, Dolores Huerta devoted herself to a lifetime of personal sacrifice to help workers in the USA. She was a relentless organizer who transformed our nation's history. RIP Dolores Huerta ❤️

There's a deadlock in the Israeli election because both the Netanyahu bloc and his opposition refuse to govern with Arab-majority parties. Rejecting partnerships with Arab parties stops either side from building a stable majority. By refusing to integrate their votes into a formal coalition, both major camps in Israel limit their own mathematical paths to power. They hate Arabs more than they want to win.

The war on Iran added $160 billion to gas and diesel spending in the US. The average US consumer paid nearly $500 in extra fuel costs, compared to a global average of roughly $60. Not to mention the fact that rising diesel prices will raise the cost of freight transport, shipping, and supply chains, which drives up the retail cost of groceries, goods, and airfares. We were misled about the reasons behind this war, the amount of casualties, the duration of the intervention, and the domestic financial toll.

20 states and the FTC are suing Dollar General for repeatedly overcharging shoppers more at checkout than what's advertised on the shelves. Tens of thousands of customer complaints between January 2023 and March 2026 allege millions of dollars in overcharges across 21,000+ stores. The FTC says Dollar General knew about these pricing errors for years through customer complaints and state inspections but avoided implementing operational safeguards or proper staffing levels to ensure shelf tags matched register prices. Dollar General frequently operates in low-income urban centers and rural food deserts where residents live on fixed or tight budgets. They often have limited transportation or no alternative options, so the company operates in a captive market. Draining resources and extracting extra margins through inaccurate pricing on a vulnerable population resembles a parasitic relationship. Between 2019 and 2026, Dollar General entered into 7 settlements paying over $6 million in fines for identical violations. That penalty comes out to $40-$45 per store per year. If all they get is a small fine for this, why would they stop? A slap on the wrist is just the cost of doing business.

There are strong claims that ICE has been detaining an American citizen who was born in Florida. Phillip James, 39, has been detained for at least 10 months. He's currently in Indiana facing deportation to Jamaica. Public records, court documents (including a 1988 paternity case), his mother's testimony, and a valid US passport held for 15 years confirm that he was born in Florida and is an American citizen. Medical experts who evaluated him said that he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and that his claims of being born in Jamaica (along with other claims like being foreign royalty) are psychiatric delusions. Nevertheless, DHS denies his citizenship and initiated deportation proceedings based on his own delusional statements, with no external evidence indicating he was born in Jamaica or holds Jamaican citizenship. To reiterate: his direct family, official US documents, AND the medical experts who evaluated him are all saying that Phillip James is a Florida-born man who is suffering from schizophrenic delusions... but DHS disagrees.

🚨Richard Channing “Chan” Shealy, 54, a former interim worship pastor and Christian musician in Lexington, South Carolina, has been indicted on nine federal counts for producing, distributing, and possessing child s*xual abuse material. Federal prosecutors say Shealy produced images of a child on four occasions between 2004 and 2006, later shared CSAM files in February 2026 via a peer-to-peer network with an undercover Homeland Security agent, and possessed additional material on devices at his home. The production counts carry up to 30 years each; distribution and possession up to 20 years each, plus fines. This follows his March 26, 2026, arrest on 13 state s*xual exploitation charges. After posting bond (with conditions allowing contact only with his own children and barring internet access), he was hit with 20 more state counts on May 1—including two first-degree criminal s*xual conduct with a minor, lewd acts, and additional exploitation charges tied to the same 2004–2006 period involving children ranging from five to eight years old. Bond was denied; he remains jailed. Shealy’s wife, Beth Shealy, was vice chair of the Lexington One school board (serving ~27,000–28,000 students) at the time of the initial arrest. She resigned March 29, citing family needs. Local reporting noted her social media response framed the alleged child s*x crimes as acts by “Satan.” The couple has minor children, including a daughter with special needs. Shealy previously led worship, spoke at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes event at a district high school, and produced Christian music portraying himself as a “faithful” follower of the Bible. Shealy belongs to the Southern Baptist denomination, which emphasizes marriage as between a man and a woman and condemns consensual same-sex relationships as sinful.

Teenagers dress as KKK for Halloween party—walk down neighborhood street yelling N-word. "We hate [N-words] !" they yell terrorizing families. Other teens laugh & encourage them to shout more hate. "One, two, three — bye [N-words] !" Boy filming calls them "the team"—so maybe those under the robes could be identified as participants in high school sports together. Witnesses say the crowd first gathered for a Halloween party at a residential house. Then the group wearing the KKK costumes decided to march down the residential streets & scream the N-word. Incident occurred on the Eastside of El Paso, Texas. Therealfitfamelpaso doesn’t have an active account on this platform—so posting first full length and credited video here to help raise awareness.

Police in Virginia are being sued by the mother of a man who died in custody despite his repeated requests to go to the hospital. Allan Tucker II, 32, was arrested for alleged public intoxication and was left in a police cruiser outside the jail for roughly 45 minutes before anyone noticed he was unresponsive. Body camera footage corroborated his requests for help. An independent policing auditor confirmed that officers violated policy by disregarding his medical requests. The arresting officer physically drove past Inova Alexandria Hospital while Tucker was actively pleading to be taken there, and then Tucker was left alone in the back of a patrol car for a long period of time. This was an intentional decision by the Alexandria Police Department to prioritize incarceration over immediate, life-saving medical care that was just minutes away. Prosecutors declined to pursue criminal charges.
