I just can’t believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park.Â
It’s just such heartbreaking news that I can’t really find the words, there won’t ever be another like him. Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother.
My thoughts go out to Sharon and all the Osbourne family. Rest in peace Oz. Tony

Goodbye dear friend - thanks for all those years - we had some great fun. 4 kids from Aston- who’d have thought, eh?
So glad we got to do it one last time, back in Aston.
Love you.

In honor of Jimi Hendrix, who would have turned 82 today, I wrote something for PBS about his incredible sense of style. He helped define not only the sound but also the look of a countercultural movement.

#ThrowbackThursday Irvin Kershner talks to Billy Dee Williams on the Bespin landing platform set.
Quincy Jones wrote the horn charts on this one, did all the arrangements for the record. Everyone looking back at a rich career, this was the first thing I put on. youtu.be/9t58v7IY5fg?si=fXSr…
The thing about Quincy Jones, he was involved with SO MUCH crazy actually Off The Wall shit that it gets overlooked that he wrote & produced possibly the greatest TV theme song of all time. Miles heard this and his next record was On The Corner. Just Sayin youtu.be/Vs0XDJ9ph5s?si=zIPf…
