Its always mixed emotions when a friend and colleague accepts a promotion at another university. You are happy they are achieving their career goals, but --wow-- did NC State lose a good one.
Congrats @ddadayNCSU!

A great podcast that visits with a past and current coordinator of the Solders to Ag program as well as some alum. Just four of the couple hundred incredible people I've met assisting with the program.

I don't have to travel far to experience the wonders of the Yellow River. I stand in my office overlooking the Brickyard and await a Spring thunderstorm to do its thing during the Raleigh pollen season. By looks of the radar... it shouldn't be long now.

2,000 masks in 400 bags. @CropAndSoil should be good to go for another few weeks.
So, what did you do tonight?
Decision process when considering @krispykreme's offer.
283 days left in 2021
x 1 doughnut/day
x 190 calories/doughnut
= 53,770 calories
53,770 ÷ 100 calories/mile walked = 537 miles
Walking distance to St. Augustine, Fl = 539 miles
Time for new shoes.

Be sure to stop by the Brickyard this week for Ag Awareness Week hosted by @aawncstate! Come learn about #agriculture in North Carolina. There's also a virtual silent auction to help raise $$$ for Feed the Pack food pantry. Oh, and don't miss this evening's Ag pageant!
Corned beef. Cabbage. Potatoes. Beer Bread. And for desert, home made Guinness-Chocolate cake. Not a bad St Patrick's Day dinner.

Eating a dozen donuts at home and telling everyone I ran 5 miles is very similar to my current workout plan. The only difference is I currently feast on ice cream and limit my physical activity to unloading and loading the dishwasher.
