Patrick Stewart in the final scene on Star Trek: The Next Generation. It’s extremely simple, but reveals so much of his character if you watched. Somehow his sense of duty and sensitivity, along with the admiration of his crew shines through. RIP Captain.

One of PATRICK STEWART's greatest roles was Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation - a Captain who stood up for what was right. He delivered many great speeches in the role. This, from The Measure of a Man, is one of the best.

Very sorry to see that Walter Koenig has passed away. Let's remember him with a look at Chekov's finest moment. youtube.com/watch?v=MdSJFrhb…

The replies to this post are the best thing I’ve seen on the internet this year. No exaggeration.
Bryony and Matt are spending £820,000 on a modern, high-performance home on the Cornish coast - designed to meet the highest environmental standards. Will they pull it off? 📺 NEW Grand Designs | Tonight, 9pm | Channel 4

My small British company was bought by Americans. I have just been formally reprimanded for sarcasm and sardonic commentary. I told the disciplinary panel I was grateful for the opportunity to reflect on my attitude going forward and would be certain to bear it in mind in future.

Returning to a document I started writing this morning. Never finish on "we will consider". Who only knows how that sentence would have ended...

Sheer incompetence from @GWRHelp. The 1625 Exeter St David’s - Plymouth is delayed by 22 mins. Platform staff said stay on platform for Teignmouth and not to get 1631 stopper, 1625 will get there first. 1625 now running to Plym direct, 7 mins after stopper left…

Impressively in numerous announcements to stop people boarding the wrong train nobody has apologised for the inconvenience. Incredible customer service.

I use em-dashes and colons all the time, sigh. AI is stealing our best punctuation marks. Who can we sue?

Just attempted to appear knowledgable by quoting Einstein. Sadly it's been (immediately) pointed out that I'm actually quoting Douglas Adams...

I don't think I've ever agreed with something more than this...
