Ten years since these disturbing scenes at Halesowen.
By the letter of the law, that’s probably a red card offence…

I know this isn’t very supportive of me as a supporter, but I can’t shake the sense that it’s embarrassing to our great history at this standard that this is the team the owners have equipped a manager with. It’s probably in fact an insult to our tradition in this competition.

The PM isn't a liar. There was prolonged Russian interference in the Brexit referendum. That is not the same as saying it changed the outcome. It is however the case that Russia did try to interfere and influence.

One of the greatest players I've ever had the privilege to see.
In a day and age where prices are bandied around like confetti I honestly don't think you could put a price on what his capabilities were.
Now, you get one type of midfielder who sits on one position, passes it 10 yards max and it worth £100m.
Then you get another type of midfielder who adds average attacking thrust. Another £100m
Then, you have captains who don't open their fucking mouths for 90 minutes, called" leaders ". Another £100m
He was a team's best defender, best holding midfielder, best leader, best attacking midfielder and most important match winner.
Priceless. Truly priceless.
