Yesterday I was reminded how different Twitter is from real life... Twitter: Lich/Barber sentencing/OstrichGate/Carney and Trump ridiculously biased analysis.... Real Life: Went out for dinner last night, the place was absolutely packed on a Tuesday, grocery stores lined up, kids playing in the street, people going to work, chatting with their neighbours, enjoying a fall evening... Twitter: Canada is shit, dangerous, unsafe, broken, third world, beyond repair. Worthless. Embarrassing. The people posting this stuff are going through their day as above, enjoying the weather, out for a walk, talking to a co-worker, or busy at work... Then stopping posting about how horrible it is here... Then going right back to enjoying their day. It's so obvious. If it's really so horrifying here, why are you here? Why are you raising your kids in the worst country on the planet? Sure pal... Twitter. Isn't. Real.
