Restricting access to cell phones during all or part of the school day is really hard but also really important. Possibly the first keeps the second from happening. If you're a school that does so successfully, I'd love to hear your advice to others on making it work.

In technology today one of my students commented that "posting online is not seen by many strangers." If you see this, please like or retweet so I can show my students the (3-day) impact of posting online when we are back on Tuesday. Thank you! #teachertwitter

A5 my HS son has an IEP. A special education teacher calls him every day to check in on the day’s workload and how he’s feeling. This 5 minute conversation makes him feel valued. He’s working hard to submit his assignments because he wants a good phone call. 💕 #satchat
QUESTION #5 NOW BEING DISCUSSED
How can we support "exceptional" students in this period? Students who don't have devices or access? Students with disabilities? Students learning English? #SATCHAT

An entire day collaborating on coaching for impact. One entire day. No slide deck. No fancy protocols. Just embracing the impactful, messy work of coaching for reflection. A clear demonstration of vulnerability & commitment! @Mark_C_Olson @MrsFedderly @dcfitzpatrick Jhynek
