Pourin' one out for all my conservative California friends and acquaintances who moved to Texas over the last several years so they'd never have to be in a Blue State again.

Vivek Ramaswamy claims the founding fathers will hold Americans accountable in the afterlife: “When we face our founding fathers in the afterlife and they ask us what sacrifice did you make for your country we better have a damn good answer for them.”

BREAKTHROUGH U.S.–IRAN DEAL REPORTEDLY EXPECTED THIS WEEK Sources familiar with mediation efforts told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that a breakthrough agreement between Washington and Tehran could be announced this week. Negotiators are reportedly working to narrow differences and secure mutual concessions to prevent renewed military escalation. No agreement has been officially confirmed.

The fact that "AI stands for American Intelligence" has been sitting right there all this time and he didn't find it tells you how much he has lost it. Shadow of his former self.
Trump on his attempt to change AI to Super Intelligence: Welcome to the new world of super intelligence-SI. Let's see if that goes. It sounds much better. Let's see if I have any power. Maybe I do and maybe I don't. We're gonna find out pretty soon

I bet Polymarket would still pay out to the people who bet against this if the President slammed down martial law at the last minute and had every registered Democrat executed. (Kalshi would not.)

Stoller thinks the AI bubble is fine because it’s competitive for now. Once one of them achieves regulatory capture and gobbles up the others as the market collapses, he’ll bitterly tsk that nobody even tried to stop it.
Ossoff just repeats what rich AI doomers say, which has now become conventional wisdom because Bernie Sanders decided his final chapter would be to hand America over to tech oligarchs. Ladies and gentlemen, the Democrats!

When my $5000 midterm bribe check arrives, I'm going to spend it on the same thing I bought with my share of the tariffs revenue, my refund from the DOGE savings, and my Health Savings Account rebate from the ACA subsidy expiration. The President's as good as his word! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

If Anthropic is intellectually honest; then this risk better appear on their S-1. This will be the best test on whether they do seriously believe that.
Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

Someone explain to this dumbass that the point of D-Day was to keep it a secret until it was underway.
President Trump has dismantled Iran’s military capabilities, destroyed nearly 100 percent of its military factories, and buried its nuclear program. We are now entering the endgame. At dawn begins an economic D-Day — the single greatest financial offensive ever marshaled against an adversary. The Islamic Republic has subsisted by dressing extortion as security guarantees. It has drawn strength from a calculus that regards Iranian retaliation as certain and American enforcement as negotiable. Under President Trump, that era is over. And those who fear the danger of defying Tehran ought not to discount the cost of testing Washington. The President has created the conditions to leverage every agency, every authority and action many assumed we would never summon. Our objective is to sever every economic lifeline that sustains the tyrannical regime until Tehran stands alone.

Have to say, I'm a little surprised that it took the President this long to try hitting Iran "hard", maybe we should have tried that right from the start.
TRUMP: 'WE'LL HIT THEM HARD' President Trump vowed a forceful response after U.S. forces intercepted an Iranian missile attack in Jordan, saying, "We're going to beat the effing S out of them" and "We'll be hitting them hard." He also said overnight U.S.-Saudi strikes on Iran-backed militias in Iraq were coordinated with Baghdad and warned further action against Iranian proxies is under consideration.

When they do it that's bad but when we do it that's good. When they do it that's crime but when we do it that's business. When they do it that's war but when we do it that's security. The only standard is a double standard.
