I spent y’day in bed holding Urn Steffi, talking to Urn Steffi & bawling at intervals. Was going into work y’day for a distraction, but my emotions were weighing me down, decided against. AO home y’day too & sat with me all day with Luna & Brutus. For once they didn’t judge me😁

4 yrs since Steffi passed away today leaving my💔 shattered forever. AO & I were blessed she loved us. She was Our World. We Love her❤️❤️ “I don't know what they are called, the spaces between seconds, but I think of you always in those intervals. - Salvador Plascencia -

Steffi & me. We had the ideal relationship. Never a harsh word was spoken between us. The worst was us being huffy with each other & even that, seldom. We had romance, passion, tenderness, laughter, trust, respect & a love that was infinite. I was blessed I was loved by her. ❤️

Reminiscing: Steffi She would wake me wee hours to investigate noises she heard. Whinging she didn’t care for my safety, I did. When I went to investigate with my Dad’s old cricket bat, she called out “Darling, remember to use the bat like an Aussie cricketer not Sri Lankan” 😂😂

Aunties have decided to night bake with Lily. I can hear them in the kitchen. Lily is talking to them about what the Specialist said today & Aunties are listening & when asked offering their thoughts. No one has opened a bottle of wine tonight and that astounds me😂

A weird Zoom Mtg with 🇨🇳 colleagues tonight. AO, Luna & Brutus opted to stay by Lily’s side tonight instead of being part of Zm Mtg. Brutus hasn’t left his Mum’s side since we got home. Luna & AO staying close to him & Lily. I do love that❤️ 🇨🇳colleagues disappointed at absence😂

When we got home AO had returned with my SIL. She enjoyed being driven by her cousin & SIL today. This was confirmed when she tried to get in SIL’s car to leave with her😂 When I told she can’t she turned quite deliberately to look at me wrathfully. Children are indeed a Joy 😒
