Everyone is racing to make AI smarter. But I’ve been obsessed with a different question: What makes people genuinely attached to an AI, beyond what it can do for them? I built Beni AI to explore this. 33K+ personalized AI personas created, 1.3M+ messages exchanged. And it made me wonder: What if the AI that already knows you, remembers you, and feels like yours could actually do things for you? So we built Genita while focusing on this. It’s an early prototype using sample data, exploring how personal context can turn into proactive, real-world assistance. I’ve always been more interested in building AI my mom would naturally come back to every day than making power users even more productive. My thesis is simple: Intelligence makes AI useful. Personal connection makes it irreplaceable. As models become increasingly capable, I believe the real consumer moat isn’t just a smarter model. It’s a persistent, adaptive presence that grows with you and feels like the same familiar someone wherever you meet it. Models can be replaced. Relationships shouldn’t have to be. That’s the future of personal AI I want to build. Meta Muse shipped this feature today, feeling proud that I was not wrong.

Tiny cohort, cracked founders (picked from ~3k applicants), and amazing partners who actually get hands-on. If you’re building something cool, don’t sleep on @AforeVC FIR 🫡

2,000 PRs a month. From someone who used to be “just a PM.” And honestly, I’m still blown away by this. I can now take an idea, run my own team of AI agents, and ship production-grade products in just a few days. But here’s what I find most interesting. I’ve built products from 0 to 1M in 6 months, starting from scratch. My strength was never writing code. It was knowing what to build, how to structure a team, design workflows, orchestrate execution, and actually get things launched. Turns out, that’s exactly what I’m doing now. Just with agents instead of people. The skill hasn’t changed. The leverage has. AI doesn’t eliminate the need for human judgment. It makes great judgment insanely scalable. And I still can’t believe we’re at a point where this is possible.
