White South Africans own approximately 18.48% of South Africa’s landmass, a far cry from the “70% lie,” covering their homes, farms, and businesses, established over a period of
almost 350 years, where they live and work, contributing significantly to the economy and almost 70% of Agricultural GDP, while Black Tribal Lands alone at 13%, nearly match this in landmass, yet cost approximately R8 billion more than they contribute in the more than R1.4 billion cost annually of maintaining their Royal Families, 13 Kings and 2, 700 Chiefs (National Treasury2025), and potential income of more than R10 billion lost due to Corruption and bad farming practices, draining more than they yield (StatsSA 2025, OUTA 2025).
White-owned farms employ 610,000 non-White workers, and 970,000 domestic workers and gardeners in White households. This 7.3% Minority contributes more than 50% of South Africa’s Income Tax of R1.2 trillion, supporting more than 18 million grant recipients, yet the ANC scapegoats them for all of the ills in South Africa, including their own failure to sustain Economic Growth and Redistribute that land, including more than 800 farms, they have already Expropriated. In September 2019, he promoted a fictitious mineral called “Hazenile” to investors at a global mining conference in Australia. The mineral was invented as part of an April Fool’s joke by Smart Energy International earlier that year, with the article clearly marked as a prank. Mantashe’s speech included details directly from the joke article, even repeating a misspelling of the Cango Caves as “Congo Caves.” The incident drew criticism and embarrassment for the minister and his department.

British woman Sue Howarth and her husband Robert Lynn were woken at 2am by three men breaking into a window of their remote farm in Dullstroom, a small town in the northeast of South Africa, about 240km from the nearest capital city.
The couple, who had lived in the area for 20 years, were tied up, stabbed, and tortured with a blowtorch for several hours. The masked men stuffed a plastic bag down Mrs Howarth’s throat, and attempted to strangle her husband with a bag around his neck.
The couple were bundled into their own truck, still in their pyjamas, and driven to a roadside where they were shot. Mrs Howarth, 64, a former pharmaceutical company executive, was shot twice in the head. Mr Lynn, 66, was shot in the neck.
Miraculously he survived, and managed to flag down a passer-by early on Sunday morning. Mrs Howarth, who police said was “unrecognisable” from her injuries, had multiple skull fractures, gunshot wounds and “horrific” burns to her breasts.
“Sue was discovered amongst some trees, lying in a ditch,” writes Jana Boshoff, reporter for the local Middelburg Observer newspaper. “Her rescuers managed to find her by following her groans of pain and then noticing drag marks from the road into the field.
“Her head was covered with a towel. Her eyes were swollen shut. She was partially clothed with just scraps of her shirt remaining. Her breasts and upper body was bloody. The plastic bag, shoved down her throat, took some effort to remove because her jaw was clamped down tightly.
“How she managed to breathe with the bag in her throat remains a mystery. One of her rescuers later recalled how Sue was unresponsive except for the constant groaning. Whilst the man ran back to the road to see if an ambulance has not arrived yet, she managed to curl one of her arms around her breasts in a last attempt to protect herself.”
She was rushed to hospital and placed on life support, but died two days later.
Last year Meshack Yika, 28, and Themba Yika, 38, from Bergendal farm, near Belfast in South Africa, were both sentenced to 37 years in prison.
