rune #2 is proof that you can be hated and decentralized at the same time.
On January 20, 2025 I will be stepping down as @SECGov Chair.
A thread 🧵⬇️
A difficult decision.
After 6 months of building and $600k in expenses, Sparky is returning to the hands of the community.
Runes welcomed us, but proved to be too early for what we sought to achieve.
A CTO team is in place to re-design Sparky on Runes.
Team supply of 10% (including pre-mine) has never been sold, and will be given to the CTO team.
The original Sparky IP will become a completely new launch on Solana.
We hope you, our holders and audience, will respect our decision.
We leave you with a compilation of our best moments ⚡
