I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors.
My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher.
I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day.
The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me.
Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly:

Before he created "Breaking Bad," Vince Gilligan co-wrote a TV episode about a hijacked passenger plane flying straight toward the World Trade Center.
It premiered six months before 9/11.
In the story, a secret group inside the U.S. government takes remote control of a Boeing 727 full of passengers. The plan is to crash it into the Twin Towers, blame foreign terrorists, and start a profitable war.
More than 13 million people watched it. The show was canceled a few months later, and most people forgot it ever existed.
On September 11, Gilligan watched the attacks on CNN like everyone else. As he looked at the smoke rising from the towers, one thought hit him:
"Wait a minute. We wrote this."

1990s German utilities could not imagine the amount of subsidies German politicians would be willing to waste in order to achieve this.
Without theese subsidies the 4% figure would be very realistic.
It also just delicious how you, like all renewables propgandists leave out that the consequence of this was German electricity production declining from 650 TWh to 450 TWh, German wholesale electrcity prices doubling, German industry shutting down due to high energy prices and German energy security just being thrown out the window.
1993 had German get almost all of its electricity from domestic nuclear and domestic coal. Now its gets its electricity from unreliable renewables and coal and gas supplied by unreliable international markets.
I love this chart.
In 1993 the German electricity companies said renewables could never supply more than 4% of the country's power... that was the ceiling. Last year they supplied 55.9%. Fourteen times the ceiling.
It's the psychology of incumbents meeting exponential change. They extrapolate from the flat part of the curve, and the ceiling turns out to be a speed bump. Same story in EVs, in crypto, in AI...
Impossible, then inevitable.

No one ever talks about the need to “diversify” any of these places.
