I told a parent his child was mean and a bully and he looked me dead in my face and said “he’s just a boy”. That was 1st grade. Now in 5th grade he & his brother are jumping children over any thing. You think parenting has nothing to do with some of these kids you’re a fool.

Government of Ghana’s statement on the tragic killing of Javits Frimpong in the Bronx, New York.
I have spoken to the father of Javits, Mr. Thomas Frimpong and directly conveyed the condolences of the Government and people of Ghana.
On my instructions, officials of our Permanent Mission in New York have visited the family and coordinating with local authorities.
The Foreign Ministry will work tirelessly with US authorities to ensure justice is secured.
The family of Javits and his loved ones remain in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant his lovely soul a peaceful repose.

Javits was killed because those thugs couldn’t handle consequences of their bullying. After the principal of the school gave them suspension, they returned to shot him because to them Javits “snitched”. I want the Ghanaian community to rise up and show up in their numbers for him

it’s sad because the dad said that just 3 days before his son was killed, the principal suspended the boys who were bullying him and assured him that everything was fine. they severely downplayed the situation.
