Support the Manchester Munich Memorial Foundation fundraiser and ensure the Babes continue to make the impact in this world that they deserved to. That a charity set up in their name isn't meeting it's fundraising target on today of all days is scandalous. Come on Reds 🙏
Right then. Despite the social media posts about how much Munich means to people, the charity that raises money each year for young people's charities in the name of those who died is only 74% into it's fundraising target for this year. Sort it out, Reds. justgiving.com/page/mmmf-202…
Massive respect to Northampton based artist Jano who has been working in the rain all day today to get this stunning mural of Sir Bobby up on The Trafford. A truly beautiful tribute.
Go give Jano a follow on Instagram instagram.com/graffiti.paint…
Corporate football hipsterism at its finest: Producing pretend fanzines to try and use fan culture to flog a load of £130 mass produced coats that looked awful the first time round but now have nostalgia appeal.
Capitalism has been co-opting youth culture/subculture, stripping it of it's more subversive elements, reducing it to a series of stylised visuals and selling it back to the mass market for mass consumption for years. Adidas has done it for decades with hip hop, street art etc
This gives me the excuse to encourage you to read about the fascinating life of our first international player Jim Brown, born 1908, who played and scored for USA at the first ever World Cup in Uruguay in 1930.

Little bit of local history: You've probably driven past St George's Church on Chester Road many times going between town/OT, but maybe not noticed the clock on the tower was permanently set to 15.04 by workers at the site when it was redeveloped as flats as a Munich tribute.
In the space of two hours, it appears we may be rid of a set of greedy, self important parasites who are scared to leave America, and a greedy, self important parasite who's scared to set foot in America. Wild times.
Within two hours of the announcement of the departure of Ronaldo, with all its commercial implications, a story is leaked about a potential sale which sees the share price rise 17%. I'm sure it's just a coincidence...
Manchester United share price up 17% following announcement of potential sale by Glazers, has already added almost $400m to the club’s market capitalisation #MUFC
Horrific news to wake up to. Love to everyone who's been affected by this ❤️ theguardian.com/world/2022/o…
