At some point, the UK needs to choose. One option is the Scandinavian route: everyone pays more tax, and everyone gets Scandinavian-style services. Or we go the other way: cut services and benefits so we can hold — or even reduce — the total tax burden. Her son was kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists on October 7th.
For two years Padma held out hope her son could still be alive.

Heartbroken at the news that Bipin Joshi is dead💔. Relieved his body was brought back to Israel yesterday - after 738 days in Hamas captivity.
Bipin, a 25-year-old student from Nepal, was abducted from Kibbutz Alumim on October 7.
He came to Israel just three weeks before the attack on an agricultural study program and quickly fell in love with life on the kibbutz.
An aspiring agricultural scientist and amateur rapper, Bipin was full of dreams and joy. His life was brutally cut short, murdered by Hamas terrorists. After 738 days, Bipin is returning home for a proper burial.
We share in the profound grief of the Joshi family.
May Bipin’s memory be a blessing. 🕯️
