The coolest thing about some YGO designs is that they have direct visual parallels of each other. Yami Marik is quite literally supposed to be a false version of the Pharaoh (Atem) mimicking his spikes, cape, jewelry, and even his black sleeveless shirt seen on Yami Yugi lol
