🇺🇦🤝🇫🇮 Thank you to the government and people of Finland for the 35th defense assistance package and for their steadfast support since day one of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The decision was fast-tracked to meet Ukraine’s urgent request, and a larger package is already in preparation. In total, Finland has delivered €3.6 billion in defense materiel to Ukraine. Every package strengthens the security we share, in Europe and across our region. defmin.fi/-/suomi-toimittaa-…

Another strike on a Russian oil refinery in Omsk – one of the major refineries – as well as on the Ukhta oil refinery, 1,900 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border. The target in Ukhta was hit by An-196 RS drones, which can fly about 2,500 kilometers, while FP-6 drones (modified FP-1s) were used against the Omsk refinery the day before. We continue to respond to Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, and we’re doing so with high precision. Another data center was hit as well – our symmetrical response. An important display of accuracy by our warriors. Glory to Ukraine! @ZelenskyyUa

Something tasty is on the way! The Vampire usually delivers very different packages to Russian positions. This one is for our own. A heavy bomber drone from the Fenix unit on a supply run: food and essentials dropped straight to warriors on the front line, where no vehicle can get through.

⚡️ Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat hit. On October 8, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat refining complex in Salavat, in Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan. A fire broke out at the facility. It is one of Russia's largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes, with a capacity of up to 10 million tons of hydrocarbon feedstock a year. The plant helps supply the Russian armed forces. To be continued. 💥 Source: @GeneralStaffUA

Pryluky: 22 killed, five of them children. Kramatorsk: 12 killed at a public transport stop. Kyiv: two killed in a residential building. Russia struck 10 regions of Ukraine. None of these were military targets. Anti-ballistic systems, aircraft munitions, and interceptors save lives every day. Ukraine needs them now.
The search-and-rescue operation in Pryluky following the Russian missile strike on the five-story apartment building has now been completed. Sadly, the death toll has risen to 22 people. Five of them were children. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Fifty-four people were injured, including seven children. More than 500 emergency service professionals were involved at the site. I thank every one of them – 15 people have been rescued since yesterday, including a five-year-old child. And even after such a brutal attack, the Russians continued striking our regions. This morning, Russia hit an ordinary public transport stop in Kramatorsk with an aerial bomb. As of now, 12 people have been confirmed killed. In the evening, a strike on a residential building in Kyiv claimed two lives. My condolences to all the families and loved ones of the victims. Four more people were injured, including two children. In the Odesa region, a Russian drone attack damaged an animal shelter. Energy infrastructure was hit again. Overall, Russian strikes caused destruction in 10 regions. I am grateful to our partners who did not remain silent yesterday about these Russian crimes. But it is important that support in words take concrete form in new packages for Ukraine’s defense. Supplies of anti-ballistic capabilities, ammunition for our combat aircraft, and investments in interceptors – all of this is directly helping save lives every day. Important talks with our partners will take place today and tomorrow. We expect them to deliver concrete results to strengthen our defense.

AI is now shooting down Shaheds. A Ukrainian innovation: AI-controlled turrets that take out jet-powered Shaheds on their own. Why it matters: - faster reaction and better accuracy than a human - the system never gets tired - low-cost interception of an expensive target - quick to scale The first 12 are already protecting Kyiv. More are coming.

At least 14 people killed in Pryluky, four of them children. The toll of a Russian strike on a five-story residential building in the Chernihiv region. 50 more people are injured, including 7 children. First responders rescued 15 people, among them one child. Russia launched 70 missiles at Ukraine overnight. Air defense is what stands between those missiles and people's homes.
Today, as a birthday “gift” to Putin, the Russian army destroyed a residential building in Pryluky, in the Chernihiv region. It was an ordinary five-story apartment building. Tragically, as of now, five people have been reported killed and 26 injured, including five children. There may still be people under the rubble. First responders are working nonstop at the site – doing everything possible to find every person. Russian missile strikes also damaged five apartment buildings in Dnipro and four high-rise buildings in Kremenchuk. Tragically, two people were killed and eight injured. A high-rise building in Zaporizhzhia was damaged by a drone. In Kyiv, the Russians killed two people. Two more people were killed in Oleksandriya… My condolences to all the families and loved ones of those killed. Overall, infrastructure in Kyiv and 12 regions came under attack last night. One of the key targets was our energy infrastructure. The Russians wanted to strike painfully and demonstratively. This was one of the most vile strikes: 70 missiles in total, many of them ballistic, as well as “shaheds.” Unfortunately, only some of them were shot down. Russian ballistic missiles remain the greatest challenge. And air defense packages for us right now are a vital necessity. That is why every day we are looking for missiles for Patriot systems that can and must actually protect people’s lives here, in Ukrainian skies. Thank you to everyone who is helping us.

🇺🇦🤝🇪🇺 Thank you, Europe, for standing with Ukraine. Russia cannot break our warriors on the battlefield, so it targets civilians, homes and power grids instead. Terror is its strategy. Europe's answer is the right one: €1.24 billion for drones, drone interceptors, drone ammunition and missiles, all made in Ukraine. The funds were disbursed today under the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan. More firepower for our defenders. More capacity for our defense industry. A safer Europe. Grateful to @vonderleyen, @KubiliusA, @EU_Commission and EU Member States. link.europa.eu/wVRbcN
