We've seen a spike in transfers from the NAIA level making a huge impact for Division I programs.
The coming season will continue to emphasize this trend with NAIA stars landing at strong Mid-Majors.
Here are five players you need to know:

Jaquan Johnson is 5-foot-9, MVC Defensive Player of the Year, and one of the most coveted guards in this year’s transfer portal — size didn’t stop him, effort did the talking.
Iowa State didn’t recruit him despite his size. They recruited him because of what he does with it.
Undersized guards, take notes.
