(about to pass back out) dude i just had a dream where will ferrell released a movie where post-apocalypse a bunch of alien historians stumble upon his movies as human civilization artifacts and earnestly try to reconstruct human culture based off them

genuinely i'd watch the hell out of it if it were real. like at first i was like "oh this is a big self congratulatory isn't it" but the only absurd things were the concept and the clips shown like everyone in the not-movie took it really seriously it was kind of charming

professor ferrell was like "look, i think you're misinterpreting comedic texts, i doubt these are accurate portraits" and the emotional climax was the archivalist going "i want to believe the people who destroyed their world had fun and ate things like maple syrup spaghetti" etc

LRT the second I saw the "petite bourgeoise" thing going around I was forced to reckon with the fact that the average fandomite is like. Unjokingly unironically mentally unwell to a genuinely concerning degree

i'll never stop posting fic for "the love of the game" as they say, but i will also never forget that some fic authors got on here and said "man i sure like getting engagement on the writing i share" and some non-authors accused them of being ontologically evil for that

Andrew Loomis' book are a pretty good place to start if you want to learn to draw. I personally believe its faster to learn from old art books than a lot of online materials

This book by Andrew Loomis “Creative Illustration” taught me so much about composition. I used it in art school. The whole book in pdf form It’s free on this website illustrationage.com/wp-conte…
