HEAR ME OUT: I think the secret display at NYCC for “Panem” is not related to the movie (don’t let the movie art behind it fool you!) and we suspect @scholastic are up to something with a NEW Hunger Games book 👀 1. It shares a wall with a Hogwarts build, and Scholastic publishes both Harry Potter and The Hunger Games in the US. At NYCC 2023, Ballad’s film promo ran inside Scholastic’s booth, so movie art doesn’t rule out the publisher!! Also, Lionsgate’s Hunger Games movie activation is a pop-up across the road, not on the show floor. 2. The SOTR cover reveal was also in OCTOBER. Every illustrated edition (three released so far) have all been released in OCTOBER. And the covered display sure does look like a book being covered up! 3. When TBOSAS was first teased, it was also called a “Panem” novel and get this, the poster with the cover and title of the book was REVEALED AT NYCC IN OCTOBER 2019. 4. Even the font is from the book cover! Used also in the teaser for TBOSAS. SO, OUR THEORIES ARE (in order of likelihood: 1. TBOSAS or SOTR illustrated edition. Mockingjay was just released this month, and fans are eagerly waiting the announcement of the prequel editions. Can it be coming early? 2. A special edition of SOTR, aligned to the movie with some new features like an interview with Suzanne or some movie tie-ins. 3. WISHFUL THINKING BUT MAYBE THAT THIRD NEW BOOK? PLEASE? SUZANNE I BEG YOU. My cope. What do you guys think it will be? It won’t be long until we find out anyway! Also, go give @sadieodairworkitearnit a follow for helping find this out for us tributes.
