Why are Jamaicans still unable to access essential National Land Agency services, nearly a week after the system outage?
Opposition Spokesperson on Land and Works, Lothan Cousins, MP, is demanding answers and urgent action from the Government and the National Land Agency (NLA).
With property purchases, title registrations, mortgage transactions and other critical processes affected, Cousins is calling for:
Full disclosure of the cause of the outage.
A clear timeline for restoring normal operations.
Assurances that land records and sensitive information remain secure.
Practical contingency arrangements to assist affected customers.
Limited assistance by telephone and email is not enough. Jamaicans need a clear plan to ensure that urgent and time-sensitive transactions can continue.
An apology is not a solution. The public deserves answers, accountability and action.

🤔 so my question is, if there are concerns about someone's leadership, management and ability to deliver in one ministry, why transfer them to lead another, especially a newly established ministry that requires strong leadership and effective administration?
