Great news? Bad news?
I have just informed my colleagues that I will step down as @ECB President on 7 February 2027.
It has been a source of great pride to serve this institution.
I thank all of those who have supported me on this journey over the past seven years.

I’m joining the @NASA Hackathon this November 🌌
I’ve always been a massive space nerd, so I’m using the weekend to keep building @paledotorg: paledot.org/
It started as cosmos.dens.so, and the goal is to make exploring space, from our Solar System to the cosmic web, more visual and intuitive for students, teachers and anyone curious about what’s out there.
Basically, the way I wish I’d been introduced to space.
I’ll also be joining the @SpaceApps London local event during the hackathon, supported by @spacegovuk.
