Avieon Terrell has allowed just 28 receiving yards and ZERO touchdowns through his first four weeks. 🔒🔥
Per Rookie Watch, he’s played 87 coverage snaps, faced 10 targets and allowed only 5 catches—with a 42.9 passer rating allowed.
And that includes matchups against Chris Olave and Tetairoa McMillan. Impressive start for the rookie. 🔴⚫️

The Falcons defense is allowing a league best 48.3 rushing yards per game.

Your #Falcons starting linebacker opposite Divine Deablo? Not Christian Harris, not even the impressive Kendal Daniels.
It's Harold Perkins Jr. What a leap he's taken in one month. Dude is making plays as a pass rusher, run stuffer, and coverage player.

Maason Smith is best in the NFL in ESPN pass rush win rate among DTs (31%). Brandon Dorlus is third (28%). #Falcons

WITHOUT James Pearce Jr AND Jalon Walker, The Falcons have a top 3 QB pressure rate while blitzing at the 4th lowest rate in the NFL
They’re also allowing the 2nd lowest rushing success rate in the NFL
Jeff Ulbrich is an elite coordinator that doesn’t get the national recognition he deserves, especially with everything he’s been through. Nate Ollie also might be the best DL coach in the game. Unbelievable job by those two

Avieon Terrell has been the definition of SHUTDOWN through his first four weeks:
• 87 total coverage snaps
• 10 targets
• 5 receptions allowed (28 total yards)
• 42.9 average passer rating allowed
• 0 TD’s allowed
And he’s done it against names like Chris Olave and Tetairoa McMillan 😳🔒

Here’s Michael Penix Jr.’s passing chart from the Falcons’ 45-24 win over the Saints.
Also of note: Saints blitzed Penix on 11 of 21 drop backs & only recorded four total pressures. Penix went 9-for-10 passing for 101 yards against four or fewer rushers, per NGS.

Falcons currently have the #1 rush defense the NFL through the end of Week 4 (per @MikeConti929 )
Keep in mind #falcons are missing BOTH of their starting edge rushers
• James Pierce Jr (Suspension)
• Jalon Walker (Injury)

In 4 games, The #Falcons will add James Pearce Jr. to this defensive line. This unit is tough and performing at a high level.
