Few days ago, Trump insulted a list of countries including #Libya and #Somalia, calling them “shithouse” countries. In response, Libya’s de facto ruler, Saddam Haftar made a statement condemning Trump’s remakes. Interestingly, Trump changes his tune immediately, releasing a statement experience his admiration & support for Libyan people. I wonder why Somali leaders don’t have the backbone to do the same. Defend the dignity of our country. That’s what you are elected for?! Spineless leadership!

This is factually not true. The conflict started within a series of border skirmishes between the Somali region and the oromia region. Moyale is currently under the control of the Somali region, and majority of the refugees are Borana, unfortunately you don’t (1)
So, those minions in Moyaale, went into Oromo land in Ethiopia, hoisted a frag, and killed a Borana girl. A child imagine. Then, when Boranas poked them a bit, the ran back to Kenya with sob stories (their usual script). They did this in the hope that KDF would intervene. 🤣🤣

The history of Somalis in Zambia 🇿🇲🤝🇸🇴 began in the late 1960s as a targeted economic recruitment effort and evolved through waves of refugee migration into an established mercantile community. *In a sense, this is a pushback against @joseph_kalimbwe, who I feel doesn't have a proper grasp of Zambian history and is mostly looking for "the next thing" to whine about and try to create relevancy. it's important to know the history of Somali people in Zambia, not paint them with broad brush strokes. sadly, he's blocked me so probably he won't see this. it's sad that he's doesn't honestly engage with people and isn't willing to learn anything that runs counter to whatever he comes up with in his mind. 1. Genesis: The "Hell Run" and Expatriate Drivers (1960s) • The Economic Blockade: Following the Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI) by Ian Smith’s white-minority regime in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1965, Zambia faced a severe trade and fuel blockade cutting off its southern transit routes. • The Tanzania Link: President Kenneth Kaunda partnered with Tanzanian President Julius Nyerere to establish the Zambia-Tanzania Road Services Limited—famously known as the “Hell Run”—along the Great North Road to haul vital copper exports out and fuel/imports in. • Recruitment of Somali Drivers: Lacking a sufficient local pool of heavy-duty and fuel-tank drivers capable of navigating the harsh terrain, the Zambian government recruited approximately 70 skilled Somali truck drivers. This marked the first organized arrival of Somalis in Zambia, primarily settling around Lusaka and Ndola (such as Chaisa Township and Bwana Mkubwa). 2. Settlement, Expansion, and Early Tensions (1980s) • Bwana Mkubwa Settlement (1986): Somali fuel-tank drivers and their expanding families established an unauthorized settlement near the Bwana Mkubwa Railway Station outside Ndola, consisting of self-built mud houses, wells, and community spaces. • Government Action: Prompted by media reports and concerns over unapproved squatting, President Kaunda’s UNIP government demolished the Bwana Mkubwa settlement. However, rather than leaving Zambia, the community dispersed into townships like Ndeke, Twapia, and expanded footprints in Lusaka, gradually bringing in wives, relatives, and building deep-rooted commercial networks. 3. Civil War and the Refugee Wave (1991–Onward) • Outbreak of Somalia’s Civil War: When state collapse and civil war broke out in Somalia in 1991, a new wave of Somali refugees and asylum seekers began arriving in Zambia. • Intra-Diaspora Strains: By the late 1990s, political and clan divisions from back home occasionally spilled over into the diaspora, leading to internal community friction, security scrutiny, and occasional interventions by Zambian immigration authorities. • Crackdowns and Policy Scrutiny: As numbers grew—with estimates eventually surpassing 5,000 to thousands more concentrated in urban hubs like Lusaka and Ndola—Zambian security forces periodically conducted sweeps and crackdowns on undocumented migrants or illegal settlements (such as high-profile detentions in Lusaka in 2010). 4. Contemporary Status and Economic Role • Business and Trade: Today, the Somali diaspora in Zambia is heavily integrated into the nation’s commercial fabric. Somali-run enterprises span retail and wholesale trade, transport and logistics, hotels, restaurants, and the oil and gas sectors, with Somali businesswomen playing prominent community and economic roles. • Second-Generation Integration: Many early settlers have children and grandchildren who were born in Zambia, speaking local languages alongside Somali and holding deep socio-economic ties to the country.

Sanbaloolshe saddex jeer ayuu noqday Taliyaha Hay'adda Sirdoonka Qaranka, labo dal ayuu safiir ka noqday, waa Wasiir hore iyo mudane ka tirsan Golaha Shacabka. Tababarrada sirdoonnada waxaa aasaas i ah saddex arrimood: 1. Sida xog sir ah loo uruuriyo. 2. Sida xog sir ah loo gudbiyo. 3. Sida qorshe abaabulan loo fuliyo. Qof intaas oo waayo-aragnimo ah u leh hay'addaha Dawladda iyo sirdoonka, way adag tahay in hadal kasto oo uu jeediyo loo qaato mid iska dhacay. Sanbaloolshe waxaa uu shaaciyay qorshe lagu soo dajiyay Imaaraadka waxaan u arkaa tallaabo uu si ula kac ah u qaaday, isaga oo aan dooneyn in dadkiisa lagu jiheeyo dagaal wakaaladeed iyo iska horimaad halis gelin kara mustaqbalkooda. Waxey u badan tahay inuu wajahaayo xaalad ay isku dhaceen "Danihiisa" (Conflict of interest), wuxuu isku dayayaa inuu Imaaraadka qanciyo, isaga oo ka fogaanaayo fulinta qorshayaal dhagareysan oo khatar ku ah dadkiisa iyo Dawladda Soomaaliya. Xogta uu shaaciyay ma ahayn hadal uu iska yiri; qorshe la soo dajiyay laguna ayna u dhineyd fulin ayuu shaaciyay; wuxuu mudan yahay in lagu bogaadiyo.

Not only is Moyale Oromo, all Somalis and their lands are Oromo. Like Abiy Ahmed told Somalis in parliament, Oromos are their leaders. Only Oromos can think, speak, and decide for Somalis. No Somaliweyn 🚫🇸🇴, you are part of the Oromummaa 🇪🇹🌳

There are probably around 100,000 Somali journalists on X. My question is very simple: how come nobody has asked @krassenstein for an interview yet? Are we just going to repost his stuff and call it a day? Stop fighting back from a defensive position and start the offensive.
EXCLUSIVE: As promised, this will be the first of a series of recordings I have about a foreign plot to attack Ilhan Omar with FORGED documents and the help of Trump associates and the Right-wing media. The man on this call is Alan Bender, a mediator with longstanding dealings in Saudi royal circles. Alan Bender, is a confirmed confidant of Middle Eastern Royals, particularly in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.  He represented Prince Alawaleed in his divorce case, and also mediated during Alawaleed's detention by Crown Prince MBS Alan Bender alleges years ago that wealthy, powerful people planned to doctor documents to smear Ilhan Omar, then amplify them through right-wing media, betting her credibility would be destroyed before the truth caught up. Listen to what he told me. Much more to come.

level of anti-social depravity thats only visible when you get cents from a blue checkmark. that somali guy is not plagued by your lack of work ethic, combined with a nauseating inferiority complex He chose to earn his bread instead of changing religions for the grift lol
Just landed in Minneapolis. After hearing so much criticism about the Muslims here, I decided to test something. My Uber driver was a Somali Muslim named Abdulwahab. I asked him if anyone had ever shared the Christian Gospel with him. He said no. But he plays basketball with Christians at his gym. So I shared it. I explained how the wages of sin are death, how Christ paid that debt, and how even in Genesis 3, God clothed Adam and Eve with animal skins after their sin. Very different than the Quran story of Adam where he just repents and is made clean. Their book actually wipes that entire story of the details that are so important. He listened. He understood. We had a beautiful conversation about justice being only available through Christ. (Pray for Abdulwahab!!) We talk about Muslims like they’re an invading army while some have never even heard the Gospel from the Christians they see every week. Why are we treating Minneapolis like a nuclear war zone when there’s a mission field sitting in the driver’s seat? Hopefully I can get more chances here God willing. I’ll be back for a team launch soon. Less fear. More Gospel.

ask yourself, what triggers such a response from a group of people all the way across the continent to constantly victimize themselves when somalis aren’t even in the conversation or are being praised. living in ghana but fuming abt 🇸🇴 women online?
another west african nationalist account who spends all her free time fuming about somali’s on the internet although she has clearly never met one, she genuinely believes ‘madow’ is on the same level as the n-word.

This is an incredible video. Deep down, we’ve always known this. Qatari officials ADMITTED that America forces the Arab nations to spend their money on useless projects and lavish sports tournaments. Arab money is held in US banks, and the Arabs have to ask permission from the Americans whenever they wish to withdraw and spend their own money. They’re like a 16-year-old kid asking their Dad for permission to use his credit card. If an Arab ruler wanted to spend his billions on new factories, shipyards, and new strategic industrial projects, America would refuse to give him permission. But if the Arab ruler wanted to spend his billions on new music concerts, tennis tournaments, and luxurious hotels, then America would give him permission to spend the money. America doesn’t want you to be strategically independent of them, because they would lose their leverage and control over you. They want these small, divided, and weak Arab states to be dependent on the US forever. America uses modern industry and comfort to hold you hostage. These golden handcuffs ensure that you will never defy the Americans. Your electrical grid, antibiotics, refrigerators, and machinery are all dependent on US supply chains. If you dare defy America, they will shut off your imports and your people will starve. It’s not like the people in Riyadh and Doha know how to farm. They live in skyscrapers and they buy their food from local grocery stores which rely on modern equipment and global imports. Breaking this cycle of dependence relies on breaking the very supply chains which keep millions of people fed and housed. In a perverse way, being developed makes you more dependent. That’s why nations like Afghanistan and Yemen are more able to defy America, simply because they’re less developed and less reliant on imports. @anasaltikriti was being interviewed by @DillyHussain88 on this issue.

Behind the clashes in Moyale lies a major territorial objective:to provide "Oromiland" with access to the sea via Kenya at the expense of Ethiopia’s Somalis. It is a planned strategy of expansion. "Oromiland" project at the heart of tensions with the Somalis. #Ethiopia #Moyale
