Half of X now thinks ₹3,200 crore of taxpayer money was wasted. Here's what you conveniently left out of the headline:
Not a single rupee of taxpayer money. It was built and paid for by diamond traders themselves. 4,700+ offices were sold to traders.
Why is it empty? The global diamond industry is in crisis: Trump's 50% tariffs, collapsing demand, and lab-grown diamonds crushing natural stone prices.
A PM attending an inauguration doesn't make it a government funded project.

An RTI response revealed that the HR&CE Department had never granted permission for its installation.
The statue of the anti-Hindu 'activist' also carries an inscription denouncing God and those who worship Him.
