HERO ALERT: An armed citizen stopped a shotgun threat inside a crowded Utah gas station before the suspect could fire. Police say 23-year-old Ofa’tangikivaha Angilau became belligerent after a clerk refused to sell him alcohol without identification. Another customer intervened and helped remove him from the store. But Angilau returned carrying a shotgun. The armed citizen immediately opened fire, striking Angilau before he could discharge the weapon or hurt anyone inside. Angilau did not survive. The armed citizen remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. A dangerous man entered a crowded business carrying a shotgun. Thankfully, a law-abiding citizen was prepared to stop him.
