This is getting out of hands now.. I understand the ‘Let’s Connect’ posts, I do them as well and I understand they are necessary to start growing, especially for small/medium accounts. But I cannot stand seeing interesting posts which might trigger interesting conversations getting replies like: Let’s connect, Fb, Happy to follow.. with no context, super spammy, with no respect. I understand we all want to grow on the platform here, but replying to posts in that way is rude, pointless, counterproductive and just wrong. @X is not about collecting followers.

Growing on X is about burning 2 sides of a candle. - Reply to big accounts and to ‘let’s connect’ posts to increase visibility and acquire new followers. - post your own content to increase impressions and keep those followers to engage with you. It is tough, but this is how I reached 650+ followers in 3 weeks on the platform.
