Played Swelter and it ended up being one of my all-time favorite fan made campaigns. The story and voice acting is what you'd expect, but everything else is just beyond impressive. Great puzzles, solid combat, possibly the most beautiful game set in Central Asia ever made.
I know that everyone and their cat says Expedition 33 is great, but will I still enjoy it if it doesn't immediately look like my kind of thing? I can't seem to get over the art style. And it's been awhile since I've spent more than twenty euros on a game.

It has some of the objectively best work I've ever done in a studio setting. The game's visual aesthetic is really pleasant, chunky and colorful and it's a lot of fun to just add *stuff* to this world every day.

Kind of cooked with this one, chat. Getting close to a workflow I enjoy! This time I painted most of the character from a blank canvas, using the render only as lighting and color reference. It was still very quick and forced me to interact with the structure of the drawing more.
Every few months the volume slider for my SteelSeries headset stops working, and every few months I go looking for a solution and inevitably land in a reddit thread for the issue where the top comment is «ummm it's not SUPPOSED to work». Don't think I've ever hated anyome more.
