I liked using the desktop app before. Nowadays it improved so much that I honestly can't think of a good reason why you would use a terminal.
Most people use Claude Code in the terminal just because it feels more developer like. The desktop app is cleaner and gets the job done. What am I missing? What can the terminal do that the app can't?

some takeaways from binance and the last few weeks of cyber apocalypse: - we’ve been building in crypto for the last 5 years and it always felt like we were at war, but now we’re definitely at war - don't think i've seen the industry coordinate like this before, swift action, no hesitation, united front - we’ve come a long way - for as long as I can remember the usual response to something like this used to be “just self-custody,” I think we're past the point where that alone is a useful answer - I do believe however that self-custody without single points of failure is the way to go in a world where everything feels more fragile, both in and outside of crypto - for personal custody, a 2/3 multisig with 3 different hardware wallet providers is a good start - for teams and enterprises, the list is longer and nuance is king, at a minimum: dedicated signing devices, diversified signers, alternative frontends for verification, alerts and monitoring - while we have AI to “blame” for pointing out the fragility and gaps in our systems, I do believe it will also be responsible for generalizing formal verification by making it cheap and accessible across the board - all the recent events absolutely don’t help me sleep better, but from a squads perspective we’re staying the course: formally verifying our code (now beyond onchain), always be fuzzing/pointing new models at our programs, obsessing over enterprise security, helping solana teams design their multisig setups and preparing for quantum - leading up to Breakpoint and after we’re going to be rolling out a couple major updates to the multisig experience as well as shipping more open source tools for the ecosystem - my DMs are open if you’re rethinking your custody setup, and reach out to STRIDE to get your opsec audited - our character development arc as an industry continues and the only way out is through ps: squads was not affected by the binance incident and all systems remain operational

If you believe that the world will be onchain, then you believe Brazil will be onchain And if you believe all that… you believe in Nora. 🇧🇷 Thanks @islanddao and @SuperteamBR for all the support 🤝

O Partido dele elege maioria pro Senado. O Partido dele elege a maioria dos Governadores. O irmão dele se elege Senador. A madrasta dele se elege Senadora. O Partido dele movimenta o maior fundo eleitoral do país.

SafePool makes saving simple by letting you pay with Pix, keep everything in reais, set the rules with your friends, nudge whoever is about to miss a deposit and get everything back when the group ends. Next we’re planning rewards and more structured groups so people feel even more compelled to save. Powered by @norafinancexyz and @hodle_app nitter.cf/safepoolapp/status/211…

I’ve been building something for a few months to tackle a problem that’s huge in Brazil: most people don’t have a habit of saving money. How many actually save regularly? Some recent surveys: Atlas/Bloomberg: 16% Nexus: 15% Serasa: 13% That’s exactly what @safepoolapp is built to solve.

For 4 months I ran an MVP with a simple WhatsApp group of people who had never saved a cent of what they earned but wanted to start, beginning with R$10 a week, then R$15 and now R$20. The plan was to run it for a month, but they liked it so much and saw the benefit so clearly that they asked me to keep going, and they’re still at it btw lol. The funny thing is that nobody cared about yield or getting the best APY, because what they really wanted was to keep that money out of easy reach and have a group holding them accountable!

I wanted to test if a Solana program with no source available could be pulled from the chain and reverse engineered into a byte identical open source version So I took the daosfun contract and did just that Found a critical security vulnerability in the mainnet program too, oops! All smart contracts can be perfectly reverse engineered now There is no security by obscurity anymore github.com/lalalune/daosfun-…

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. Do not use Pinocchio. "I'm super smart, doesn't apply to me!" No, that's just hubris. If you absolutely need low CUs, use Quasar or Anchor v2 Using Pinocchio is like building a car from scratch to get to the park across the street.
(almost) Every single Pinocchio program I've audited had a critical. Pinocchio isn't the problem. Here's the pattern behind those bugs:
