I never want to see a player sent down, but in Anton Silaev's case, it's the best move for the next phase of his development.
Playing big minutes in all situations and learning to dominate in the AHL will be tremendous for him.
He really impressed me this training camp, as I didn't expect him to be as efficient a skater as he showed.
