Thanks, @voxxed_thess, for taking this photo. My books are already outdated, but they look good here. And I look like a local rapper from Manila. πŸ˜† 😎 – at Oslo, Norway

New in CodeRabbit Secure: Deep Scan now follows a vulnerability across your linked repos, then replays the exploit in a throwaway sandbox to prove it's real before it flags anything. Hendrik walks through this and everything else in the new update:

CodeRabbit is a big help for DaloyJS.
1,049,817 open-source code reviews in September, a new monthly record! That's 2.49x April's volume and up 14.4% from August. "Not using it today would be like racing Formula One without a seatbelt or helmet." – @tannerlinsley, creator of TanStack

Next.js 16.3 Instant Navigations lets you balance reusable content with fresh or personalized data while keeping navigation responsive, like a SPA. I built next16-airline.vercel.app to try this in a common multi-step flow. Cache Components mark reusable flight data with 𝚞𝚜𝚎 πšŒπšŠπšŒπš‘πšŽ. Partial Prefetching brings it into the browser before you click, including URL-specific content with πš™πš›πšŽπšπšŽπšπšŒπš‘={πšπš›πšžπšŽ}. Async React keeps search and booking actions responsive with πšžπšœπšŽπ™Ύπš™πšπš’πš–πš’πšœπšπš’πšŒ, πšœπšπšŠπš›πšπšƒπš›πšŠπš—πšœπš’πšπš’πš˜πš—, and πšžπšœπšŽπ™°πšŒπšπš’πš˜πš—πš‚πšπšŠπšπšŽ. Server Functions write and refresh data with πšžπš™πšπšŠπšπšŽπšƒπšŠπš. πš…πš’πšŽπš πšƒπš›πšŠπš—πšœπš’πšπš’πš˜πš— animates loading and confirmation. I’m also testing πšžπš—πšœπšπšŠπš‹πš•πšŽ_πš™πš›πšŽπšπšŽπšπšŒπš‘() and πšžπš—πšœπšπšŠπš‹πš•πšŽ_πš—πšŠπšŸπš’πšπšŠπšπš’πš˜πš—() to refine what waits for navigation, like search results and live seat availability. I rebuilt an older Vercel book search demo with Next.js 16.3 Instant Navigations: next-books.dev Instant Navigations lets server-rendered routes respond immediately when you click, even on a throttled connection: πšŒπš˜πš—πšœπš πš—πšŽπš‘πšπ™²πš˜πš—πšπš’πš = { πšŒπšŠπšŒπš‘πšŽπ™²πš˜πš–πš™πš˜πš—πšŽπš—πšπšœ: πšπš›πšžπšŽ, πš™πšŠπš›πšπš’πšŠπš•π™Ώπš›πšŽπšπšŽπšπšŒπš‘πš’πš—πš: πšπš›πšžπšŽ }; Cache Components prerenders static, cached, and fallback UI. Partial Prefetching brings that reusable route UI to the browser before navigation. Add πš™πš›πšŽπšπšŽπšπšŒπš‘={πšπš›πšžπšŽ} when a link should also resolve its URL-dependent content before the click. Anything still missing loads on the server and streams into its Suspense boundary. The filters use πšžπšœπšŽπšƒπš›πšŠπš—πšœπš’πšπš’πš˜πš— to fade the catalog while the server updates and πšžπšœπšŽπ™Ύπš™πšπš’πš–πš’πšœπšπš’πšŒ to apply the next filter values immediately. Rebuilding the demo also improved initial loading. First Contentful Paint was 44% faster and Largest Contentful Paint was 33% faster than the original. See the source and learn more below ↓
