Spending time around wealthy people will change what you believe is possible for yourself. Neuroscience shows that the people around you influences how you think, what you value and how you behave.
If everyone around you makes $50k a year, making $50k a month sounds ridiculous. But when you spend time with people doing it, it begins to feel achievable. You start asking what they know that you haven’t learned yet.
I used to get coffee at hotels that cost $2k a night just to surround myself with people who could afford to stay there. Soon enough I realized they were no different than me. They’d just figured out a few things I hadn’t. And those were things I could learn.
