Jeff was a pioneer of molecular genetics in Dictyostelium and a friend and mentor to many. He will be greatly missed. A fuller appreciation is planned at a later date. Rob Kay on behalf of Jeff's family, friends and colleagues.

We are very sorry to inform the Dicty community that Jeff Williams died on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 after a long battle with ill-health.

After 2 years off due to the pandemic, the 2022 international Dicty meeting is planned for 7-11th August 2022 in Stirling, Scotland. Mark the date for now. Happy Holidays!
