The article headline is what I focused on immediately because it makes me sick. So, Microsoft admits to AI being based on a foundation of theft, yet they just gave something like 27% of their workforce the chance to take a voluntary exit package because of AI adoption? 🤮
Tim is intentionally ignoring the fact that GenAi models are built off the largest theft of labor/creative works in history.
This golden era he claims is not only slop, it’s built off theft.
ALT Washington post report headline: Microsoft exec called AI the largest theft of labor' in history, court records show The quote headlined an unsealed document in the New York Times's copyright case against Microsoft and OpenAl.
I don’t normally talk politics. But…
I early voted already and really hope you will be voting too for the upcoming midterm elections here in the US.
We need to send the current “president” a strong message by basically making him powerless. Please vote!
Taken straight from one of your many beloved AI sources. No wonder you need AI to think for you all the time. You have no brain.
Even though my beloved Cubbies have been eliminated from the playoffs, doesn't mean I can't bask in some lovely baseball art from the talented Amilcaraa (FurAffinity)!
I'd love to see this moose on the team, honestly. :P

YIPPEEEEE! New weremoose badge! Thank you to @Garnett0 ! Can't wait to print this out and laminate it. Even better, it's double-sided. Heck you, wind!
Gotta admit. Haven’t been in the best of head spaces lately. Well, pretty much all year due to work and life stresses (uncertainty about the US gov’t, economy, rise of AI everywhere). I needed to see this. It stupidly brought a smile to my face.
