BREAKINGNEWS I have spoken to many leaving Vice President JD Vance speech today in Council Bluffs Iowa and many arent buying it. They were hoping for ideas to bring down grocery cost, ideas to bring down gas prices, ideas to slow cost of living and many say it was same talking points that deliver zero results. Many pointed out the fact that Vice President Vance asked them for a second chance. That Rome wasn't built overnight and the attacks on Democratic Party. One farmer told me the Democratic Party isn’t why we are in this mess and the only one that seems crazy was JD Vance for not being transparent on what the administration is going to do about it. One lady who traveled from Boone, Iowa says she was told immirgarants and transgender people are the problem and she left the speech believing Republicans are the problem. I heard from very few that support this administration 100% and many are willing to vote Democrat if it means legislation will get passed and tariffs will stop. Huge flop for Vice President Vance. 🚨

She could be there. But she didn’t want to take the stage with Vance because the Trump admin is so unpopular in Iowa now that she’s hiding from him.
Vance: I know she couldn't be here today, but are we going to elect Ashley Hinson?

Trump just explained why he's illegally banning CNN, Politico and MSNOW from the White House: "because they never write a good story."

He’s a fascist. He’s the most anti-free speech, anti-free press president in American history. He’s also the biggest fucking crybaby who’s ever lived.👇
Trump seeks to ban CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the WH because he doesn't like their reporting. Under almost all readings of the First Amendment, the government cannot discriminate on the basis of "disfavored speech," i.e. reporting or opinions it simply dislikes.

Ahead of Xi Jinping’s visit to the United States, scheduled for September 23, Russia decided to join China in presenting a united diplomatic front. Russia has demanded that Japan remove U.S. Typhon missile systems from Japanese territory. The systems are capable of launching Tomahawk cruise missiles with a range of up to 1,800 km, as well as multipurpose SM-6 missiles with a range of up to 500 km. According to the Russian foreign ministry, a formal note of protest was sent on September 3. "A demand has been addressed to the Japanese side to cease such practices and withdraw the aforementioned systems from its territory," the ministry said. Moscow said the deployment of such systems on Japanese territory was "unacceptable, regardless of the duration or manner of their deployment," and claimed that it posed a threat to Russia’s national security as well as to "regional peace and stability." "If such activities continue, Russia will take the necessary countermeasures to ensure an adequate level of its defense capability," a Russian foreign ministry representative said. The Typhon system was deployed in Kagoshima Prefecture in June as part of the Valiant Shield exercises conducted jointly with U.S. forces. Comment from me: Beijing has its own critical interest in this situation, as the range of Typhon systems - up to 2,000 km when equipped with Tomahawk missiles - directly puts key Chinese coastal cities, military bases, and critical maritime routes in the Pacific within reach.

Joe Rogan “Trump’s supporters are fucking nuts man, they’re rabid.” Too little too late Joe. You used your platform to promote and give life to Trump and his cult of halfwits. You played a big part in putting the US in the shitter.

Q: At what point does Congress step in and address the Iran war? Mike Johnson: The administration doesn't consider this an ongoing war. It's not. They're trying to resolve an operation, Operation Epic Fury, which was an epic success.

CNN was denied access to the White House after Trump’s threat of ban. What happened to freedom of the press and free speech? This is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and ILLEGAL. 🤬 #FirstAmendment

Small problem with the party. Nothing has been signed, the island is still Greenlandic and still part of the Kingdom of Denmark, and America governs precisely nothing there. It will be exactly as Danish the day after the signing as it is today, because the agreement itself recognises that. The deal is due on Tuesday and then has to get through parliament, which becomes rather harder every time someone like you announces that Denmark has surrendered. You are celebrating a conquest that has not happened, and doing your best to make sure the agreement doesn't either.
🚨 HE DID IT! Donald Trump now has FULL CONTROL over Greenland security and got EVERYTHING he wanted The Democrats said it was impossible, but it just happened. THE LEFT IS HAVING A HORRIBLE NIGHT 🤣
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The agreement expands US basing rights in Greenland but does not grant "full control." Greenland remains Danish territory with recognized sovereignty. It enhances the 1951 US-Denmark Defense Agreement. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/… cnn.com/2026/09/18/pol…

‼️ Jim Ratcliffe: 🔹 Backed Brexit 🔹 Moved his tax residence to Monaco 🔹 Abandoned plans to build the British 🇬🇧 Grenadier in Wales and moved production to France 🔹 Now lectures Britain from Denmark about why the country is on the slide And who does he blame? Immigrants and people on benefits. The billionaires who helped hollow Britain out always point down, never at Brexit, tax flight, chronic underinvestment or their own decisions. *Toughness* seems to mean somebody poorer paying the price.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe says he has lost confidence in the UK, describing the country as "on the slide". "Nobody's tough enough to deal with the immigration problem. Nobody's tough enough to deal with the benefits problem. But somebody needs to do it." [BBC]
