It’s a good job Man City have always claimed they aren’t state owned then isn’t it? And if they aren’t state owned, why would there be a risk of state vengeance for something that is merely a private man’s hobby? 😃😃😃😃
In 2021, the UK and UAE launched a sovereign investment partnership, with Mubadala the lead investor. The agreement has generated £30bn in investment commitments from the UAE into Britain, overseen by #ManCity chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

If you are still defending City's owners after everything this week, when it is clear they will do anything to avoid punishment - capped off by blackmailing the UK government - you are part of the destruction of the integrity of football.
This is proof sportswashing works.

Calling the judgement an ‘opinion’ and then saying, ‘We will continue to respect due process’ is a contradiction. Those two statements do not coexist.

Really funny that all these Man City "fan accounts" are uniformly posting the same things on a rolling daily basis.
All staunchly defending the Owners, the Abu Dhabi Royal family and Club sponsors.
I don't think that would be a natural first reaction for an English football fan or an aficionado of the English game.
Seem very dodgy to me, almost like state sponsored fans feeds.
Are there any real City fans out there with real feelings? We understand these guys (Weird City X accounts) are making your life hell where as us proper fans are kind of feeling bad for you at the moment. It's obviously not the fault of the fans.

English football owes Arsene Wenger an apology trib.al/kYvy4wO
We'll look back on Wenger’s mighty Invincibles with awe and reverence.
We'll look back on Manchester United's treble winners with nothing but the truest of admiration.
We'll shed a tear for King Kev and laud his brave and indomitable Newcastle side.
The glorious Liverpool team of Istanbul will forever be etched into football folklore.
Shearer's Blackburn will always be held in the highest of high regard.
Leicester City's miracle season, the greatest underdog story!
Klopp’s Liverpool and their fearsome GEGENPRESS we bow down.
The Canaries team that slew Bayern Munich.. WOW!
Frank Clark’s flying Forest team!
Sir Alex Ferguson, Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer, Andy Cole, Harry Kane, Tony Daley, Paulo Di Canio, Ronaldo, Salah, Jamie Vardy, Jason Wilcox, Juninho, Dublin, Defoe, Dembele, Phillips
All our heroes invoke only great pride within us.
We loved, we laughed, we hated, we cheered, we cried, we did it all together.
We remember the moments, we remember the players and we remember the stories.
But when we look back on Manchester City all we’ll ever see is cheats.

Manchester City cheated Premier League rules, the Commission found. Did it also cheat HMRC?
We've examined the decision and leaked Mancini documents. We think City likely failed to pay £12m in tax.
There should be a criminal investigation.

🚨 Thibaut Courtois: “What Man City did was RIG THE COMPETITION.
Maybe if they hadn’t done what they did, they WOULDN’T have been able to attract the players they signed.”

Finished reading the 40-page verdict (took me two days), along with Etihad Airways’ statement.
The strongest line in Etihad’s statement is that the Premier League never contacted them or gave them a chance to put their side across.
That ties straight into the commission’s own admissions: witnesses who could have given evidence weren’t called (p.6, para 24), and some third-party documents had no witness willing or able to explain them (p.7, para 26).
It also strengthens the appeal on the “sham” point. A sham normally requires both parties to intend to mislead. If the sponsor was never heard, City will rightly ask how the panel established the sponsor's intent at all (p.30, para 110).
And the statement shows the scale of reputational fallout for a party the decision doesn't even name.
That piles more pressure on the Premier League over how it chose to publicise these findings.
Neville spent the last decade absoutely roasting Arsenal for EVERY SINGLE minor infringement he could think of! now silence on Man City 👀
