Instead of asking the question, “What do disciples want?,” we need to ask the better question, “What do disciples need?” DEEP DISCIPLESHIP – at Kentucky, USA

Let me introduce you to Virgil Lamar Ware. He was an eighth-grader, an A student who loved to play football. Virgil had a bright future. He dreamed of becoming a lawyer. All those hopes and dreams ended on September 15, 1963. The day he was gunned down in the aftermath of the Birmingham church bombing. Virgil and his brother were returning home, totally unaware that the bombing had occurred. They encountered Larry Joe Sims and Michael Lee Farley, two sixteen-year-olds coming from a segregationist rally. When the white teens saw the Ware brothers, Farley told Sims to shoot, to “scare them.” Sims shot Virgil twice, once in the cheek and once in the chest. The 13-year-old died on the Docena-Sandusky Road on the outskirts of Birmingham. Young Virgil was buried on the side of the road up until 2004 when he was moved to a plot with a marker thanks to donations. DeSantis and the likes want to hide this history. History is history. DeSantis cites “white discomfort” I experience discomfort knowing that DeSantis and the likes don’t want Black history taught. Black children were casualties of racism. It’s a fact. Children deserve to know and learn from it. #FreshResists #BlackHistoryWithLana

Serious post. At the hospital with my son. He has brain surgery today. He has been suffering for years. We haven’t talked much about it. But today we covet your prayers. It’s took a long time to diagnose the problems he had. The Lord blessed it to be revealed. Keep him lifted in this sensitive time and surgery. Trusting God to the fullest…Jeremiah 17:14

"It's the human condition to be average. It's normal. It's special to get somebody that wants to be the best they can be and understand how important it is to earn it." Average is easy. But true success isn't found in comfort. Be relentless and leave your mark on greatness.

The average median age of a church planter at the start date of the plant has gone from 36 years old to 42 years old from 2007 to 2022. (ECFA research involving 50+ denominations as reported by Warren Bird, PhD) What is your hypothesis for this increase?

CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM IS THE REJECTION BY CHRISTIANS OF THE REIGN OF THE LAMB, the person/ work of Christ on the cross, the power of the Holy Spirit. It is Christianity by another means, the coercive power of the world. There is nothing Christian about it. #LetUsCallHeresyHeresy
