Good grief, but the John Lewis Xmas advert is AWFUL. It's basically an advert for buying gifts for ungrateful kids with terrible parents. The grandchildren are just plain rude. The parents don't notice or care. So the grandma decides to splash the cash on gifts she thinks they will like - so rewarding their rudeness! If I had a kid who behaved like that, they wouldn't be getting a single gift on Christmas Day. Not one. Oh, and of COURSE the ad has to feature a mixed race family (who make up 1.3% of all British families yet about 50% of families appearing in TV adverts) because, y'know, diversity. It's all so bloody irritating. 🙄

Literally nothing gives me pleasure, but posting your pets here comes as close as anything. You may DM any photos that you think I may be able to add something vaguely amusing to, along with their names and any other information you feel is relevant. Love to (almost) all ❤️

Labour thought that by staying out of the Iran War, the Islamic regime would leave us alone. They attacked us anyway. We have a government of childishly naive foreign policy simpletons.

I just had a terrifying nightmare where it turned out that literally every sane adult on earth had the exact same views on gender as JK Rowling and everyone who said overwise was just lying for social approval or personal profit. Can you imagine!😨

I guess she was absent when they did German history at school. Lady Thornberry. The Lord Halifax de nos jours.

A major political party in the UK just voted to exclude nearly all Jews and Jewish organisations, denied Jews alone the right to self-determination in our indigenous homeland, and said Islamists killing Jews is fine and want more of it. And packaged that as being against racism. There’s mental, and then there’s the Green Party.

For those who don't know, Chris Parry is a retired Royal Navy Rear Admiral, discarded by the British government after writing reports (for the government...) on the Islamic threat posed to Britain.
Just an update to highlight that since @UKLabour came to power, 6 and a half divisions worth of fighting age men have completed amphibious operations against our coast. That's more divisions than were in the Allied assault wave on D-Day.

Virtue signalling substitutes applause for action. By turning conviction into costume, it cheapens the cause, alienates the unconvinced, and leaves the real work to those too busy doing it to pose for the cameras.

So the new statue in London of the boob and backside ‘everywoman’ is funded by Bloomberg. Little bit of quick digging and this organisation is linked to the London Mayor and has a lot of political influence apparently. How come this is ok and Farage getting ‘foreign’ funding isn’t? And I’m playing devils advocate here I don’t vote for Reform. Time this was looked into asap.

Piddington 2024: “Ahhh it feels good to virtue signal and vote for something that makes me feel morally just. Such a lovely feeling. I’ll go for a nice, safe walk now in my 100% white English village and bask in my own moral grandstanding.” Piddington 2026: “Hang on a minute, you can’t bring these savages here! Surely they can go in the working class towns so we can carry on feeling virtuous whilst avoiding the left wing savage importations we voted for? What the hell is going on?!”

It's interesting that the police didn't take this much interests in masks when Antifa, BLM, and the pro-Palestine protesters were wearing them. Two-tier policing in action. nitter.cf/CrimeLdn/status/209844…
Hampshire Police say they will use new powers to restrict face covering at the Portsmouth protest at the weekend. Powers under Section 158 of the Crime and Policing Act 2025 prohibits the wearing of face coverings used to conceal identity during any protest activity. It means that anyone in the designated area, set out by the map.

The country is fawning over women from a nice leafy village when pleas for help from women on Birmingham estates like mine have been ignored for so many years. We tried to warn you but you attacked us and called us far right. Now you ask us to stand with you. Good luck with that.
🚨NEW: Women in Piddington, a village of just 350 people where the government plans to put 1,250-3,500 illegal migrants, have released a video begging female MPs to speak out for them in Parliament

You genuinely couldn’t make this up. The genius Labour government, in its rush to punish Israel and posture as the great defender of the Palestinian cause, slaps sanctions on Israel… and somehow the people getting shafted in the process are Palestinians who actually work there. The irony is absolutely magnificent: even the Israeli government wasn’t prepared to sack these workers, but apparently Labour has found a way to make their lives harder from several thousand miles away😂 Peak Westminster competence. You really couldn’t script it better.
National Reporter @CDP1882 reports from a factory in the West Bank which hires palestinians, amid concerns about how Labour's sanctions on Israeli settlers could affect the wider community and the rest of the world.

It’s still baffling that Andy Burnham will prioritise a benefit claimant out of work due to "anxiety" or a Somalian’s housing benefits over our national security. A colossal blunder.
