Concerning. At minimum, I plan to stockpile some canned food and bottled water.
What is happening right now in Saudi Arabia is much worse than most people understand. We are entering the Great Fuel Crisis. That's not being said dramatically. That's the accurate description of what's unfolding. Europe next. They're preparing for war. Not just one country. War preparations are accelerating rapidly across nearly every European nation. Military spending, conscription discussions, reserve mobilizations, and civil defense messaging are all ramping up simultaneously. Most, if not all, countries are now warning their citizens that there is an inevitable and deadly food crisis coming. Governments are openly telling their people this is coming. This is not a "couple weeks or months" situation. This will very likely be long term. What comes with it: Mass displacement of people. Migration surges across borders. Famine in vulnerable regions. Delivery disruptions to areas we consider stable. The cost of everything continuing to climb. A few things worth knowing: When governments start warning openly about food and fuel crises, the situation is significantly worse behind the scenes than what's being publicly acknowledged. That's the pattern historically. Public warnings lag reality by months. Fuel is the base layer of the modern economy. When it's disrupted, agriculture, freight, refrigeration, manufacturing, and every product on every shelf all get hit. Not just gas prices. Think in terms of months to a year, plus the ability to produce food and generate power yourself. Now is the time to double down on tangible investments. Long shelf life food, water systems, solar, chemical compounds, seeds, and skills.

BREAKING: The U.S. almost started a nuclear war with China after an AI-generated intelligence report falsely claimed a Chinese vessel was carrying nuclear weapons components, per CNN. The U.S. military was preparing to board the vessel. Armed personnel were ready, and military aircraft were already in the air. The report was produced by a special operations analyst using a chatbot, which incorrectly identified the vessel’s cargo. The AI-generated assessment was then formatted as a standard intelligence report and circulated across the military. Officials discovered the report was false shortly before the operation. One source told CNN it was “entirely false” and “almost started a war.”

This is going to be a very bad winter, possibly the worst ever. Prepare for power outages. Stock plenty of non-perishable food and tap water. Think about lighting and battery options. Think about how to stay warm.

What an awesome player he was. Top 2 all-time.
Mario Lemieux returned to the NHL in 2001 after a 3 year retirement. He returned mid-season; through 8 games he had 9 goals and 19 points. Through 8 games, he would have ranked 2nd in goals and 3rd in points on a Florida Panthers team who had 44 games under their belt already.

BREAKING: France is running out of fuel. 11% of France's stations nationwide are now out of petrol or diesel, one in nine, with 16% of stations short in Grand Est, 15% in Pays de la Loire, 14% in Occitanie, and 13% in Centre-Val de Loire, per government figures published this morning. The official count only registers a station as short if it has no petrol at all or no diesel at all, so a station out of one grade but holding another is not counted, meaning the real shortage is much larger. French diesel averages €2.406 a litre, about $10.45 a gallon. Europe is facing its worst energy crisis in history.

#ResidentEvil is a near PERFECT Resident Evil experience! Zach Cregger didn’t just craft a GREAT Resident Evil movie (he made an awesome video game adaptation that I can already see myself rewatching for years) Brutal. Funny. Gory. Completely WTF-inducing. It’s packed with dread, jump scares, Easter eggs, & most importantly, some INCREDIBLE creature designs. This movie starts at 30 MPH and somehow keeps shredding through the gears until it’s flying at 200. It’s lean, it’s mean, it’s absolutely insane, and it’s almost everything I wanted from a Resident Evil movie. WHAT A RIDE!

The best is when you go to a completely empty beach with sand that stretches for miles and a noisy family puts their umbrella, towels etc right beside you. Yup, this happened to me. And no, they weren't friendly. Totally ignored me. Make it make sense.
I will never understand people when there’s a completely empty parking lot and they come and park right next to you. Someone should do some study on this. Why would anyone do that
