I’m excited to finally share publicly what I’ve been working on for the last few months... Expect me to start tweeting about @surgemsg more often
YC F24's @Surgemsg is the easiest SMS API for developers. With Surge, you can get your campaign registration or toll-free verification in 1-2 days instead of weeks and start building in minutes. ycombinator.com/launches/MGZ… Congrats on the launch, @dnsbty + @brett_beatty!

It's absolutely crazy to me that in 2026 @amazon won't let you choose a different credit card to buy @AmazonKindle books. Am I the only person who wants to buy books with a business card?

If you ever get the chance to attend an @aarondfrancis talk, don’t miss it. He combines sincerity, preparation, and competence in a way that captivates in an era of shortened attention spans.

Really excited for @resend Forward tomorrow. Hit me up if you're here in person, or check it out on Youtube if you aren't: youtube.com/live/ILKlxqdNvss

I've been letting LLMs write most of my code for 2 years now, and I still have magical moments. My home internet was having issues and my router control panel wasn't working. ChatGPT walked me through SSHing in to the router, verified that the config db was corrupted, and helped me to reset to a backup. Somehow I'd never thought to try SSHing into my router before.

One of the worst things about building for agents: they are more likely than humans to threaten chargebacks on card payments. And as a merchant, chargebacks are terrifying.

I’m excited to see people coming back around to this point of view. The cost of building something new has never been lower, but the (opportunity) cost of maintenance has never been higher. The effects of intense narrow focus only compound.
back into the swing of making real production software happen increasingly feeling good about SaaS businesses (as a category) simply put, when your productivity goes through the moon on 'making your beer taste better' so too does the opportunity cost of doing anything else

Merge conflicts have always been one of the worst things about git. The <<<===>>> UX was super confusing for me as a junior dev, and to be honest, it was still hard to reason about what to keep as a senior+. Resolving conflicts is one of the jobs I most love delegating to AI.

TIL the .co TLD for domains is actually the ccTLD (country code top-level domain) for Colombia. I always thought it was added to relieve pressure on the .com TLD.

There are tiers to talking to customers. High level support chats and calls are one thing, but watching them actually use your product and seeing the papercuts firsthand is infinitely better. Especially when looking over their shoulder in person. So much good feedback.

It's sad how far @Meetup has fallen. Most of what I get from Meetup now is comment spam about someone giving away their computer or offering remote jobs. It seems like @LumaHQ is the way to go, but it's more geared toward one-off events than recurring meetups.

Has anyone ever gotten a BAA with @Cloudflare? I'm on the enterprise plan, but they just closed my ticket after 2 months of radio silence. I mostly love Cloudflare, but this has been incredibly frustrating.

Getting my Chase Sapphire Reserve card years ago, the metal card felt like an elite experience. Now every business bank does metal cards. They're table stakes. The Stripe card is the first business card I've had that evoked the same feeling. Details matter.
Details matter. We spent an unreasonable amount of time on the Stripe Card for Treasury. >Weight >Texture >Finish The sound it makes when it hits the desk. How the logo catches light. How it feels pulling it out of your wallet. I have stacks on my desk of old versions that almost made it. The final card is metal, minimal, heavy in the right way, and quietly feels very like Stripe. Small things, but I care deeply about stuff like this.

It will be interesting to see how the texture fares after a few years in my wallet.

I had a lot of fun this weekend playing Gradient Bang, the new game from @kwindla and @pipecat_ai. I love that I can switch off between it and my coding agents and they both keep going in the background. Much better than scrolling Twitter

The crazy thing about this is that 2 years ago application-to-person SMS routes were filled with spam from Twilio and other providers while other channels were fairly clean. Now thanks to a2P 10DLC registration requirements, it’s the only channel that will actually stay clean.
Prediction: In less than 90 days, all channels that we thought were safe from spam & automation will be so flooded that they will no longer be usable in any functional sense: iMessage, phone calls, Gmail. And we will have no way to stop it.
