🚨BREAKING: A 46-year-old Christian Police Community Support Officer has won a confidential settlement from North Yorkshire Police after his career was nearly ended for speaking up in diversity training. Luke Salmons was suspended just two days after a mandatory diversity session where he questioned the claim that Islam is a "religion of peace" and asked questions about jihad, Hamas, and the war in Gaza. For that, he was found guilty of gross misconduct and placed on the Police Barred List — a list that effectively bans you from ever working in policing again. He refused to accept it and appealed. On appeal, North Yorkshire Chief Constable Tim Forber overturned the decision, concluding that Salmons' conduct did NOT amount to gross misconduct and did NOT breach professional standards. He was removed from the barred list. Salmons then took legal action against the force, bringing claims of religious discrimination, harassment, and breaches of his freedom of religion and freedom of expression. Rather than face him at an Employment Tribunal, North Yorkshire Police settled the case. The settlement amount remains confidential. A Christian officer punished for asking questions — and ultimately vindicated.

From what I've observed, even some of the 'soft' SNP voters are very pissed off about this. As we face our weekly grocery shop with a growing sense of trepidation and stress about how to stay warm this winter, 'Stronger for Scotland' is becoming increasingly risible.
Cut backs all over the place but huge pay rises for MSPs? Seriously? No wonder the #AbolishHolyrood campaign is gaining so much traction.

What is going on in Poland is nothing short of a coup against democracy. Donald Tusk, with the support of the EU, is blatantly seeking to remove judges who refuse to bow to European diktats. The EU is the enemy of the people, says Frank Furedi buff.ly/EWjrRYg

Willie Haughey makes a very good point - if a company was found to be paying ghost workers, they would be investigated for money laundering.
“It's absurd. It's outrageous. It's totally unacceptable.” Sir Tom Hunter and Lord Willie Haughey react to reports that around 800 public-sector workers in Scotland are being paid for roles that no longer exist, at a reported cost of £27 million a year. With taxpayers already facing pressure on their finances, the pair question whether Scotland's no-compulsory-redundancy policy needs to be reviewed. Is it time for a rethink? £2.7m for a schoolbag contract without an open tender, to a company that has received £294m in Scottish Government contracts since 2014. It begs the question: Has anyone been scrutinising these contracts?

Goodness Gracious Me! So the biggest beneficiary of John Swinney's trip to India seems to have been India itself - and an IT firm based in Bangalore which has been handed a £35 million contract to manage benefit payments in Scotland! Make it make sense thetimes.com/uk/scotland/art…

20 years of SNP negligence, incompetence and destruction…😢
That 2006–2026 photo comparison is brutal. This account of Prestwick raises serious questions about what SNP ownership has actually achieved.

It was Lady Dorrian who erred by granting this order in the first place when it is entirely obvious to those who were directly involved that the complainants lied and perjured themselves during Alex Salmond's trial. The damage they have done to actual victims of sexual assault is incalculable but very obviously serious and far reaching. The key complainants should be in jail alongside fallguy Murrell. Scotland will remain a basketcase whilst this level of corruption continues and the senior judiciary behave as a protection racket for those, in senior positions of power - and those who influence those in power - who are actually guilty.
This is a fascinating case “The Court of Session upheld the Scottish Government’s appeal against David Hamilton’s decision, finding he set the bar too high when judging whether disclosure could identify the women who complained about Alex Salmond” archive.ph/naNcP

This is a remarkable story. The SNP are spending £21.8 million to pay Scottish civil servants who have no permanent role, which could fund 584 junior doctors on their current starting salary of £37,316 a year in Scotland. dailymail.com/news/article-1…

A doctor rapes a patient. The victim reports it. THE DOCTOR ADMITS IT. He tells a hospital committee that it was a "one off" and he will not do it again. THE MANAGEMENT SAYS THAT IS OK. And allow him to carry on working. THE POLICE TAKE NO ACTION. The hospital concerned is the BLACKPOOL VICTORIA HOSPITAL. The same hospital where a 75 year old patient was raped to death and no one was ever convicted for it. Are women worth nothing to the NHS? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c172…

There are several damning revelations here but perhaps the most shocking is that BBC publicists REFUSED to promote a film about October 7. None were disciplined. A non-BBC employee was then employed to promote the film - even though BBC employees were being paid to do this.

The SNP is betraying Scottish factories with Chinese made schoolbags to be given to every P1 pupil. The fact they’re using Chinese firms who pay workers £1 per hour is an extra kick in the teeth for Scottish companies. If the Government is not going to use our own workers who is?

For the avoidance of doubt (since some have been asking), the 800 on the Scottish public payroll without proper jobs does NOT include the 129 MSPs in Holyrood 🤣🤣🤣
Astounding Sunday Times investigation reveals new scandal in SNP’s Socialist Scotland: 800 NHS, central government, council and quango workers whose jobs no longer exist but remain on the public payroll because of the SNP’s ‘no public-sector redundancy’ policy. Estimated cost of paying people to do nothing: £27m a year. One NHS Highland worker has been receiving a full salary and benefits for 17 years despite not having a specific job. The health board refused to say what the worker had been doing for almost two decades and how much they had been paid. Likely cost to the taxpayer is expected to be far higher with several public bodies refusing to disclose salaries for hundreds of the workers awaiting redeployment.

@British_Airways incredibly disappointed. I received incorrect payment confirmation. Called you and eventually spoke to someone. They sent different, also incorrect payment information. Said there is nothing else they can do. Told me to raise a complaint which takes 4 weeks.
