Happy 8th birthday HeyTaco! 🎉
Eight years ago today, I was struggling at my job. I didn't feel appreciated, my morale was at an all-time low, and I had lost my sense of belonging. The conversations surrounding me were negative, and I hungered for some positivity.
So I came up with a crazy idea to fix it—TACOS!
By sharing gratitude with tacos, my days improved. I became happier, and my team began to thrive.
I'm not a psychologist, but it turns out an attitude of gratitude has the power to transform not only one person but also an entire organization.
Thank you to the thousands of people who have believed in and invested in the power of gratitude!
To Una for doing amazing things like bringing in the incredible taco cake, Jeffrey for supporting my mission from the beginning, and James for listening to my fireside taco stories of the past— thank you!

Employee engagement in the U.S. just dropped below 30%. The lowest in 15 years.
Wait. People can do almost anything with AI now, and they’re less engaged?
It’s too soon to know the full impact. But we’re seeing early signs that making people more productive isn’t the same as making work better.
For #NationalTacoDay I built Taco Rumble. Guaranteed laughs and good times. I promise tacorumble.com
I've been building something that's becoming the backbone of how I improve HeyTaco’s website.
It's called Moonship.
Analytics, signals, and A/B testing in one place.
I’m opening it up to beta testers:
moonship.com
I made an April Fools post on LinkedIn about selling my company to Taco Bell.
Now Gemini thinks it actually happened. 😂
Just got my @drink_AG1 trial yesterday.
@bryan_johnson says today it doesn’t do anything.
I’ll throw it away
I tried 😔
This journey wouldn't exist without the people who believed early, stayed the course, and helped shape it along the way.
Customers. Teammates. Friends. I'm grateful for all of you.
If I were a gambling man, I'd bet that @heroku loses many customers this week.
Surprised to see @semrush requires submitting a cancellation request.
Didn't we pass a law requiring online services to offer a simple, self-serve cancel option?
What a disappointment @1800flowers is. I ordered flowers for my mother. They never showed up. I spoke to customer service and they said they will refund me. They only refund the $17.99 shipping fee and not the $88.24 cost of the flowers. 🤯
