Down By Two

Picked up the free throw shooting in the 4th after a brutal night from the stripe. 65% off 48 attempts won’t cut it most nights, but their defence and crashing the offensive glass was enough to secure the dub for the Raptors. On to Denver. #wethenorth

Bailouts on Clippers possessions, 50% from the line, not getting back in transition, just doesn’t feel like the Raptors have the legs tonight on the second night of a back-to-back. #wethenorth

On to the Raptors and Clippers. Let’s see how Collin Murray-Boyles slides into the starting lineup with Jakob Poeltl out. Stay out of foul trouble! #wethenorth

Wizards crushed the Magic in transition points and made them pay on turnovers. Couldn’t get anything going with clogged passing lanes, forcing them to shoot from range, where they struggled mightily in the second half. Onto Phoenix for a 4 game west coast swing. #makeitmagic

Yikes. Orlando Magic only scoring 9 points in the 3rd quarter is worrisome. 1 for 13 from range in the quarter as well. Need to get back to finding those driving lanes if the threes aren’t there. #makeitmagic

Love to see the unselfish play from the Orlando Magic. Vucevic the benefactor of good spacing off the extra pass. #makeitmagic

TELL EM’ BOOG! 😂 Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane weigh in on Orlando Magic win over Toronto Raptors in NBA Cup Action. #makeitmagic #orlandomagic #NBACup

Big win for this Orlando Magic squad in a solid get-right game. Desmond Bane found his stroke and Franz was getting to his spots. They went back to what worked in Wednesday’s matchup, being physical and drawing fouls, which resulted in 33 free throw attempts.

NEW CAREER HIGH FOR SCOTTIE BARNES (and counting). Raptors need him to continue asserting himself on the offensive end if they’re to complete the comeback.
