Local piemaker explains how Burnham's first Budget will make things much worse: "I don’t qualify for the business rates relief because I’m multi-site… I’ve got two shops, so I don’t qualify. The minimum wage has increased. I’m not saying we shouldn’t pay staff. I’m saying we can’t afford to pay them… All my staff have been with us for years. So I’m going to have approximately a £700 a week increase. My suppliers are having an increase too. My supply bills are around £20,000 to £30,000 a week. That’ll go up 10%, so £2,000 to £3,000 a week. So that’s £4,000 a week I’ve got to find… That’s about 20,000 to 30,000 pies a week. So my costs have gone up. I’ve got no business rates relief. The National Insurance is crippling me. The energy crisis is crippling me. I’m going to have to put my prices up, Customers are going to get mad. I’m going to get less profit. As a family, as a director, I’ve got to take a 2% cut. So my family, my one-year-old girl. I’m taking a pay cut. The business is taking a pay cut. How is that breathing room for me? Where’s my breathing space? John Healey, if you’re listening, where’s my breathing space? You promised me. You promised the UK breathing space. Where is it?"

Well perhaps when they put your family all over the press and make unfounded claims against you putting both you and your family in danger, lets see how measured your response would be and whether writing a strong letter for the press regulator to ignore would suffice?

Thanks for your opinion, I'll store it in the usual place!

The vessel without a consciousness invites possession from a consciousness without a vessel. The socialist revolutions Marxists expected in the industrial West never took hold. That left some 20th-century Marxists with a problem. So why hadn’t workers turned against the order they were supposed to overthrow? Increasingly, they looked to culture. Religion, family, nation, tradition, inherited morality. These loyalties made the existing order seem natural, legitimate, even worth defending. The vessel was already full of what a false consciousness. There was no room for a revolutionary one. Gramsci explained this through cultural hegemony, the grip of loyalties and habits that pass for common sense. Lukács approached it through reification: under capitalism, human relations seem natural and permanent, hiding the forces that produced them. The Frankfurt School sought a critical consciousness that could see how mass culture made the old order seem normal. Freire popularized it through conscientização, teaching people to recognize and challenge the forces shaping their lives. Feminist consciousness-raising and later CRT’s race-conscious critique pursued related questions through sex and race. Change a people’s consciousness and you change what they’re willing to defend or dismantle. Expose the old order as a historical construction, show the domination beneath it, and its authority begins to crack. What had been made could be unmade. The old order survives in people’s loyalties and moral instincts. Make those judgments suspect, and its authority weakens. What once seemed good becomes oppressive. What seemed natural becomes an illusion. The familiar world loses its hold. Drain the vessel of its inherited consciousness, then refill it with a revolutionary one. Mao made the assault on consciousness explicit. The Chinese Communist Party’s 1966 Sixteen Points called for replacing inherited ideas, culture, customs, and habits with proletarian ones to “change the mental outlook of the whole of society.” The Cultural Revolution attacked the “Four Olds”: old ideas, old culture, old customs, and old habits. Traditions were discredited, loyalties condemned, and morality recast as class domination. Mao’s earlier formula of “unity, criticism, unity” aimed to correct thinking and restore cohesion. Under mass campaigns, criticism and self-criticism became tools of coercive thought reform. Break down the old consciousness, correct the thinking, restore unity around the revolutionary line. Then repeat. This is demoralization: an ontological and teleological inversion of reality through the adoption of a revolutionary Left framework. Ontologically, Western civilization is recast as an inauthentic order sustained by domination. Its institutions become instruments of oppression, its traditions inherited ideologies that reproduce alienation. The marginalized in this worldview are then cast as bearers of suppressed emancipatory potential, and their exclusion exposing the contradictions of the existing order. Teleologically, history becomes a struggle to overcome that alienation. The revolutionary vanguard claims the work of emancipation: expose the contradictions, sublate the old order through the struggles of the oppressed, and build a higher unity of consciousness. Destroying the old order becomes historical progress. Adopting the left frame, moral judgments reverse. Loyalty becomes complicity, defense becomes aggression, surrender becomes virtue, and destruction becomes liberation. The demoralized person willingly helps dismantle their civilizational inheritance , convinced theyre fulfilling its highest ideals. They come to regard its very survival as an obstacle to emancipation. The vessel has been drained and refilled. It mistakes possession for enlightenment.
A leftist social worker in Knoxville, Tenn. named Elisabeth Spencer Pitts is pressuring the city council to take down its Halloween ghost decorations because she believes it looks like a white supremacist lynching. The last documented American lynching was 45 years ago, but leftists continue to spread hoaxes that black s—icides and things that resemble knots and nooses are evidence of lynchings. ngocomment.com

Following my post highlighting concerns about the rapidly changing demographics of a Wycombe school, the entire local political establishment has lined up to attack me. The mayor, Imran Hussain called me 'irresponsible and wrong'. The Labour MP yesterday said the remarks were 'divisive' and 'disrespectful'. The local Lib Dems said it's 'dog whistle politics.' The same happened in Dartford - the Labour MP said it was 'dangerous'. Reform's council leader attacked me for 'focusing on the skin colour', saying it was 'quite astonishing'. The school in Wycombe has gone from 60% White British to 30% in ten years. Dartford? 52% ten years ago, 7% now. SEVEN percent. White British students have almost gone extinct in that school. Outlining concerns about the rapidly changing demographics of our country, and the obvious impact mass immigration has had on that is entirely legitimate. And if Labour, Reform, Lib Dem politicians think it's not? Who cares. Restore Britain is going to speak for the millions and millions of Brits who have been silenced on this for too long.

Prof Sir Patrick Vernon OBE has been appointed as the new chair of the NHS Race and Health Observatory (RHO). 🙄 Sir Patrick brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across public health, race equality, and community development to the role. He joins the independent organisation established by the NHS in 2021 to identify and tackle inequalities experienced in health and healthcare by Black and minority ethnic patients, communities and the workforce in England. Why are we still wasting money on these pointless roles? I bet he's getting paid an absolute fortune for an unnecessary job 🤬

So, just to make sure I've got this right... I can punch and break a female a police officer nose on camera, and get away with it. I can call for people’s throats to be slit if I don’t agree with them, and get away with it. But if I write a few words on the internet I can go to prison for over 2 years. Got it.

White slaves. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 For three hundred years, pirates from Algiers sailed to Britain and Ireland, came ashore at night, and took people from their beds. Baltimore, 1631. A hundred and seven people gone in one night. At most three ever came home. Over a million Europeans ended up in chains in North Africa. Nobody bought them. They were stolen. The kings of Europe paid ransom. For centuries. In 1816, Britain stopped paying. Lord Exmouth. Twenty British ships, six Dutch, against one of the strongest fortresses on earth. 27 August 1816. Nine hours. Fifty thousand cannonballs. 128 British sailors killed. The next day the Dey signed. Every Christian slave freed. 1,083 people walked out of Algiers in one afternoon. Nobody came for them... Until we did. ⚓🇬🇧💪
