I’m buying the breakout, but I’m not calling him the WR1 yet. The speed is real, the targets were real, and Cousins clearly trusted him downfield. My only concern is what happens when Bowers is back and the target tree gets tighter. If Tucker keeps earning 6–8 looks even then, I’m fully in.
TRE TUCKER — COMING-OUT PARTY? 👀🔥
Tre Tucker went off yesterday.
5 catches. 119 yards. 1 TD. 7 targets.
That’s 23.8 yards per catch.
And it wasn’t just the stat line. Dude made critical catches at exactly the right time to keep that Raiders offense moving.
He stumbled early on a play that helped lead to an interception, then more than made up for it.
Same concept later. Same corner.
This time, Tucker sat down in the zone and Cousins hit him.
Then came the 40-yard post with two-high safeties and nobody home.
That’s the shot that put Vegas on the board. ⚡️
This felt like the kind of game that can be a coming-out party.
Bowers out again.
Jeanty getting his touches.
Somebody had to become the vertical threat.
Tucker was it.
Two catches of 40+ yards.
Team-high 119 receiving yards.
Tied Jeanty for the team lead with 7 targets.
And remember, Tucker was a 3rd-round pick, 100th overall, by the Raiders in 2023 — the pick they got from the Giants in the Darren Waller trade.
He played at Cincinnati, where speed was always a big part of his game.
5’9”. 182 pounds. 4.37 speed.
He was a kick-return weapon who developed into a legitimate receiver, finishing his college career with 112 catches for 1,433 yards and 8 TDs, plus 1,670 kickoff-return yards.
Yesterday wasn’t just some random deep-ball fluke.
It was the speed showing up on time — and Kirk Cousins trusting him to make the play.
Raiders are 2-0.
And yesterday, Tre Tucker looked like a WR1.
For a day.
Now let’s see what happens when Brock Bowers comes back.

I’m buying the signal, but not the hype yet. Masses has always had ball production, and seeing it translate this fast matters. But two INTs can change the narrative overnight — I want to see the snaps and production hold when Porter is healthy again. If they do, we’ve got something here.

Anyone see Hezekiah Masses yesterday, rookie CB with the Raiders.
Boy did that dude have a whale of a game!!! 🚀
Starting in place of the injured Darien Porter (foot), Masses was all over the defensive backfield.
5 tackles. 2 PDs. 2 INTs of Justin Herbert. 29 return yards. 💥
The first came off a tipped ball. The second one sealed it.
Almost reminiscent of Jack Jones a few years back when AP had the interim tag and the Raiders were picking off everybody.
Yesterday, they walloped the Chargers 26-14 at SoFi. Sunday afternoon. Felt like a home game. 💪
But if you’ve followed Masses’ story, maybe this shouldn’t be all that surprising.
The kid can play. And he has a nose for the football.
Three-star recruit out of Deerfield Beach, Florida. Three years at FIU before transferring to Cal for his senior season and exploding.
First-Team All-ACC. Second-Team All-American.
Five interceptions and 13 pass breakups at Cal, while leading the country with 18 passes defended.📈
Over 49 college games: 7 INTs and 25 PDs. This guy finds the football.
The Raiders grabbed him in the 5th round, 175th overall. He wasn’t expected to start. Porter won the job in camp.
Then Porter goes down in Week 1, Masses steps in and immediately makes an impact.
Yesterday, he gets his first NFL start and picks Herbert twice.
That’s going to make it awfully hard for Porter to just walk right back into that job.
For IDP managers, Masses needs to be on the radar. 👀
Raiders are looking good.

The market still sees Price’s backup. I see a 3%-rostered RB who just got 21 carries — and the starter is headed for more testing.
Trigger: Jadarian Price exited Sunday with a chest injury and never returned. X-rays were negative, but Seattle says further evaluation is still coming.
What I see: Wilson finished with 21 carries for 92 yards. After Price left, Wilson handled 12 carries for 58 yards in the fourth quarter alone.
Cost: 3% rostered on Sleeper. Almost free.
Fantasy: Zach Charbonnet remains on PUP. If Price misses Week 3, Wilson has a legitimate path to the largest share of Seattle’s backfield against Washington.
Verdict: I’M ADDING WILSON NOW. 21 CARRIES CHANGED THE BET — I’M BUYING THE WORKLOAD BEFORE MONDAY’S TESTS CAN CHANGE THE PRICE.

GERMIE BERNARD — FIRST REAL LOOK 👀🔥
We should get our first real look at Germie Bernard today.
Michael Pittman is out with a foot injury after going 3-for-3 for 58 yards on 59 snaps last week. Targets have to go somewhere. 🎯
The most obvious combination is DK Metcalf, Roman Wilson and Pat Freiermuth.
But today is where I’m really interested in Bernard. 👀
The Steelers didn’t trade up to No. 47 overall to let this kid sit forever.
Bernard had a hell of a senior season at Alabama — 64 catches, 862 yards and 7 TDs, plus 18 carries for 101 yards and 2 more scores. He’s 6’1”, 206 and has the versatility to play inside or outside. 💪
And the offseason reports have been encouraging.
Mike McCarthy called him a natural route-runner and a tough kid who can play both inside and outside.
Aaron Rodgers has praised his attitude, his hands and, maybe most importantly, the fact that Bernard learns from mistakes without repeating them. 🧠
Preseason gave us some flashes, too. Bernard finished with 5 catches for 64 yards and a TD, including a 13-yard score against Buffalo after breaking a tackle. 💥
Now he gets his first real opportunity.
My guess in 11 personnel: Metcalf outside, Wilson moving outside into Pittman’s spot, and Bernard getting work from the slot.
The matchup isn’t easy. New England has some legit DBs, but Carlton Davis is out, which could create some opportunities away from Christian Gonzalez. 👀
I could see 3–5 targets if Rodgers is comfortable letting Bernard play. Maybe fewer if they keep things simple and lean on Wilson, Metcalf and Freiermuth.
